I really like the Open Table website, so I downloaded the app. The app just isn't as good as the website. If there isn't an exact match for what you're looking for, you get nothing. I like that the website allows you to pick neighborhoods and offers suggestions.

I compared OpenTable app for Surface Pro 3 to the one on my Droid and discovered that the app for the Droid produced more results when searching for a restaurant. I entered the same dates on both devices.
Much improvement is needed.

Whether it is last minute when you want to find where you can still get in, or planning way ahead for a special occasion, you can always turn to OpenTable to see if you can get that reservation and, if so, confirm it. It works especially well when you have special needs, like allergies.

I wish I could give it zero stars. I've been using OT for several years and found it very useful, until now, I have the Windows 7 version and Android and they both work well. This implementation is a disaster. No pop up calendar, very hard to select location, and produces far fewer choices than the other versions. Stay away from this waste of time.

running on a touch screen Win 8 Dell XPS13 laptop. App tells me Location svcs are off but they are on. App usually tells me there is an error whenever I sign in and nothing changes even if I hit the Refresh button or sign out and come back in; This app sucks.

Was told over the phone that a restaurant had no tables before the show we were going to see. Got on Open Table and got the table at the same restaurant at the time we wanted. No more calling for me. Straight to this site!

Finally this great app is on the Windows platform. One can do everything, BUT there is a huge omission: Namely, when you are looking at the restaurant list, their ratings are not displayed! One needs to click the name and look inside. For us it's a very important feature, so that you can immediately select restaurants with good reviews. And this rating IS available on both Android and iOS platforms! Hopefully this small but important feature is added in the future!

It's a great idea but it does not work....open page freezes...cannot change the categories, locations etc.

Found nothing - said to ZOOM OUT on map with no way to do it. Better to use Yelp and call restaurant for reservations.

I make all my reservations on Opentable now, and appreciate that I can book and check reservations on my phone when I'm on the road, and then also check on my PC while at work. Never have an issue with the app

I mostly use it to reserve for others in my list -- something that works well using the website or the iOS app -- it doesn't work with the Windows version, at least not yet. Once it does, add 2 stars :-)

Why do you not get someone to make a web site that EVERY BODY can understand other that the in crowd WEB SITE DESIGNERS. Is it your goal to only attract web site designers or are you actually looking for customers???

On my iPhone this app works wonderfully. However, on my Windows tablet the app is limited and harder to use. Specifically, only a limited number of restaurants come up, are visually odd and are tied to a map which makes no sense. On my iPhone, I get every restaurant in a wide range in a concise readable list to easily scroll through. Also, reservation times are limited to just 3 in Windows yet on my iPhone I can scroll though all available times. I love Open Table - please fix it so that I can use it as easily and efficiently on my Windows tablet as I do on my iPhone.

This Window 8 app does not connect to my account correctly. It is difficult to, if not impossible to change the settings. I just gave up using it.

Opentable is a great, allows you alter you choices based on who ,what ,when, or were your dinning experience is needed. So many great things about this app. Do install, plus you get to read the feedbacks from the restaurant, from people like us, and they do post the good, bad, and the ugly. D.
