Discover Best Windows 10 Apps

It is very good for learner. It start from zero level.
I've been using Duolingo on my Android devices for years. It's a great way to keep in touch with my language learning. When I saw there was an app for Windows, I decided to give it a try.
As compared to the Android app, there are some gaps. The Windows app doesn't have any speaking exercises. And it's not nearly as forgiving as the Android app for things like misspellings. I sort of take that as a good thing, except when I have to restart an exercise because I ran our of hearts.
I've also noticed a few content errors. In one case, my response was perfect; it agreed with the response from the app, but yet it was marked wrong. In another case, the "correct" answer was patently wrong. And there's no way in the Windows app to connect with the Duolingo community to comment on a given exercise, or compare answers with others.
Still, it's a good tool. Looking forward to seeing some improvements in it soon!
I can't stand the three hearts and I believe it is deterrent to enjoy learning.

I have been using Duolingo for three years and it is a fantastic tool
I really like the app because it let's me manage the level of learning I can do per day. It helps me with pronunciation and images and although I didn't think I could form small phrases from the beginning, it proves me I can do that. Really like it!
I use it everyday. Great.
Where's the Arabic language?!
I'm a student using this app over the summer, it is easy to use and sets goals for ur standards

Has some inconsistency between mobile App and web site: Can't see enough information on my phone since the latest update to website.
One of the best free services available on any platform.
Can't do anything with lingots from app.
I want to learn multiple language's except one, and I want to learn Japanese ㅠ.ㅠ
For a free program fantastic. There are some minor bugs when it comes to the translations (at least in Spanish) and I would use it more as a supplementary, since it doesn't really teach you grammar.
Great concept and execution. Daily practice is key, and the methods of learning is natural.
I started much too late, 3 weeks before my first vacation trip to Italy, but even this brief intro was helpful, and I'm enjoying it so much I'm continuing after returning home.
Duolingo has a lot of different languages, but it does not have a few key languages, like Japanese, and Taiwanese.
I love this program because it includes several methods to the approach of learning. in this program, you have to read, translate, and speak the lessens through, to progress. this is the best way to pick up a foreign language.
It is easy and convenient. Makes you review what you have learned

would prefer basic sentences that are not nonsense. I'm sure I've never said some of those things in English!
I love being able to learn new languages but the changes in sentence structure is a bit confusing
Easier than going to the browser and logging in- the only thing I would change is access to clubs and my profile.

It's really good and it has some symbols you can use to get the right accent on a word, but I wish I had more of those symbols so that it would be easier to get ALL the accents right like online.
does not give an introduction to the lesson, just asks you to translate the phrase
I like everything about it
It is simple and easy to use.
It is like playing games. And I like it the way it reminds me of my commitment to learn if i lag behind. Also the revision of weak words is one of the best feature

Really Helpful, now my German is better and I can speak Spanish and French. Thanks Duolingo. Keep up the good work👍
Works good and it's very effective.
Can't wait for Japanese course!
I hope that one day it will have Icelandic as well.
I like that it is fun and easy. However it is difficult to type accented letters.
