Microsoft no listen to anyone. Forever and ever... waiting for: ▪ Enable transparent live tile. ▪ Add pivots menus: chats, groups, calls, contacts. ▪ Delete hamburger menu. ▪ Add check mark and hour on each message. ▪ Add information of which person see my message on a group and which not. ▪ Fix the contact integration, right now it's horrible. ❕❗❕❗Update with this things ASAP, please❗❕❗❕

I am not stupid and more importantly, do not need to be notified about every one of your skype improvements microsoft team. Just for that, I uninstalled this and am going back to the desktop version. Skype for windows 8.1 was a million times better. Biggest reason is that it did not have ads running n the background. But this is super annoying. Will be writing a paper or something like that and boom, an ad pops up for skype (aka a program that I don't even have open.) That is BS right there.

I love Skype, but the UWP version on Xbox is not ready. I can't snap it, I can't use voice commands, the interface is awkward and confusing.... I understand the desire to have a consistent app across platforms, but please don't force it by releasing a far inferior version.

One star is far too generous for this app. It is dramatically more burdensome on the PC in terms of resources than the desktop software, the picture quality is poor for both ends of a video call compared to running the desktop software, and the audio quality is poor. The interface is poor, the functionality is poor. The startup time is poor. The calls fail more often and they drop more often. You should never download this app onto your Windows 10 desktop under any circumstances as the desktop software is vastly superior in every way.

First there are a lot of problems.Like because i do not own a Xbox 360 & I have my only Xbox which is the E not S,ans the Tablet and mobile smartphone are Samsung Galaxy products not to mention my laptop is a HP no MICROSOFT devices except my Xbox One E 500 Gb with an 2Tb External hard drive made for Xbox by SeaGate so SKYPE IS USELESS because i can't use therefore the rule of not signing in to SKYPE mean the whole account is dead.

Today skype has some bugs that make it unusable, don't install it. Here they are: (1) screen sharing to desktop version doesn't work. (2) Last update broke smiles - you can't use them. (3) Receiving calls from desktop doesn't work. (4) No emoji support in 2017

It shows local phone contacts from people app as phone numbers instead of names. But only some contacts. Sometimes it also unlinks skype and local contacts creating two contacts, one a skype and the other and sms instead of meeting them

I sleep on skype with my partner every night and now after 15 minutes my controller cuts off instead of staying on all night. please fix so i can sleep on skype w my partner

Emoji sending is tricky and hard. Notifications are poor, if someone writes and is seen in action center does not disappear the notification. In sms function cannot call contact within the app and randomly the sent sms is not shown. The pc and mobile app does not sync with all messages. Please fix these really quickly.

It was a nice convience to have Skype natively part of win10 until you have issues with it time and again being buggy as hell. Unable to launch as well as other bugs. They should have a simple check for update or fix option or something. I am likely going to uninstall and reinstall to see if that helps..

How is it that they remove the regular skype from the store and force us to use this horrible vetsion when it doesn't even have the most important basic feature, namely, the ability to delete chat history, conversations? I don't want to hide my conversations. I want to DELETE them. This app is trash.

Basic UI use for Skype as software based phone are not as good. Ring function and control messed up (rings after pickup, rings once connected, cannot disable ring while on other line). Ability to copy / paste passcodes for conference calls. Ability to use phone numbers with strings (dial conference, wait 5 seconds and enter code to join saved call in calendar). Video link with camera that works fine for other applications broken (does not even show video device available with no way to debug).

Works well on tablet, phone, and desktop.

Skype needs to be simple as it was when first introduced. Your constant "tweaking" and updates means that the users never get to learn how to use it efficiently and the program is constantly needing corrections. |Just fix the problems and then leave it alone. Most of the updates are not required and do not improve the application/

It is just wrong. It is not smooth and comfortable to use. Contact management and integration is horrible. Problem here is the developers for win mobile all have android and apple phones, they are not using their own apps

I like the final version of Skype after SkypePreview over legacy Skype. It has a better overall interface but I believe Skype still needs to be more fluid and snappy like WhatsApp. Skype still feels quite sluggish at times which invites the switch over to WhatsApp if one has a quick message to send or read. Skype still feels big and sluggish but it has come a long way compared to what it used to be in the last 3 years or so.

My phone auto updated Skype and not it doesn't work at all. No video, no audio when program is up, shuts down if you try to bring window back up after looking at something else on phone. Nice job, you found away to ruin one of the few working apps. It's impressive with it's awful.

My microphone isn't recognized and the app doesn't recognize any 365 subscription when making calls. Cannot go into the options anywhere to fix these issues.

I can't delete text, it lags so much, it zooms in way to much when on call with someone and what I do like is the abillity to change names now. Please try to fix these issues.

Finally, a live tile for previews of text messages! Very cool to see SMS syncing on PC and Xbox to Mobile. Here are the issues I've seen: * Conversations with contacts that have multiple numbers is a mess, multiple threads per number appear even when texting to just one number, cannot switch numbers reliably. * Conversations randomly disappear. * Message sync across devices is unreliable. * Sending messages from PC is unreliable. * Incomplete integration with People app - doesn't link to contact record from People app. * App opens to last used section, which is not really useful; it should always open to Recent Conversations.

Still one of the buggiest versions of skype, it lacks a lot of features. I am wondering why Microsoft bought them? Look what youtube brought to google and learn to use your assets. Also a suggestion for Skype improvement, make phone number entry mandatory to bring friends with their phone numbers like WhatsApp and Viber. The video call is terrible on my phone Lumia 950xl. It starts flickering when using the front camera.

It never shares the screens. the other side user has a loading black screen while I try to share screen.

Truth be told, I have used skype forever and had constant irritation over paywalls, stability, cross platform compatibility, and other things. But now, It works flawlessly for me. Sure, sometimes other people have to update their versions, but it has actually been the most successful version to date and I greatly prefer it to other forms of telecommunication now.

I use this for my primary messaging interface. It's a million times more stable, and every patch is better than before. It would get 5 stars if it worked perfectly all the time, but there are still some minor issues being sorted out.
