MetroMail brings a first-class Gmail experience to Windows 8. With support for Gmail-specific features such as archiving, label management, inbox categories, and much more, it offers a fast, efficient, feature-rich Gmail experience. It is also the first email client to bring instant live tile syncing between all your devices, spanning across both Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8. You no longer need to waste time on emails that you have already managed on another device! MetroMail will operate with full functionality and no ads for 30 days. During this time, you will have the opportunity to fully test the app and evaluate it. After 30 days, ads will be introduced and instant notifications for new emails will be disabled. This includes all notifications across your device, including the live tile and the lock screen. If you want to continue using these features, permanently disable ads, and support future development, we kindly ask that you consider purchasing the app. See today why MetroMail is the fastest growing Gmail client on Windows Phone 8. Read some reviews. Many said it doesn't work anymore. Thought I would try it anyway. Installed it. Did not work. Entered Gmail address and password. App quickly crashed without explanation. App seems now abandoned. Maybe now just a password harvester??? App uninstalled. Bummer. Could have been nice.

It was one of the best mail apps, but because it isn't maintained by the author it doesn't work at all with the most recent Win10
