The ArcGIS app provides a preview of features available for the ArcGIS mapping platform on Windows 8.1. Use the app to view, navigate, and explore maps in your ArcGIS Online organization or on-premises Portal. This app is provided as a demonstration of ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET capabilities within a Windows Store app. It is not intended for use in production.

The map took 5-7 minutes to load, Identify features didn't work, Icons are not the correct size, and the app is all-around slow and buggy.

I have install this app on my Panasonic windows tablet, but its not working.. any ideas on something I might be doing wrong?. And the app also says preview.

I see that this app is moving forward. The magnifier control is a gem. I am still not sure if a user can create a map or add features to an existing map. Keep up the good work and enhancements!!

Unfortunately web maps with custom projections seem only partially supported. I have a map with a basemap in UTM Zone 12 projection and it is dropped from my map view. The hosted feature services however are being rendered. Bookmarks seem to be recognized as such but are not working. Congrats that labels do show up ;)

Overall, this is a very well built preview. Now, if we could have a lite version of ArcGIS to run on Windows 8 RT or iOS tablets, it would be awesome!!
