If you needed a way to check the battery life on your Xbone controller or to update your device's firmware, then this gets the job done.

I finally found the app I need and now cant figure out the F'in secret handshake required to actually download the damn thing. thanks for nothing.

Please let us to adjust rightness of the Xbox button on Windows 10 for Xbox One S controller.

The app starts but it will not recognize my controller through Bluetooth or a wired connection.

This program is really meant for the xbox elite controller. It kind of supports the xbox one and one s controller. There are no remapping options for any other controller than the elite controller, because we all know that Microsoft doesn't want to support the cheaper options too much for too long. I hate windows but as we all know the support for gaming basically forces me to use windows. GARBAGE

Works great (Win10 x64) and provides lots of customization options for my Xbox Elite Controller. That said, we need to be able to remap buttons (or paddles) to keyboard keys -- a good example being I'd like to remap a paddle to F12, which is my screenshots shortcut. That way I can take screenshots with my controller instead of triggering the Game Bar.

Microsoft. You're a fantastic company. What is this? C'mon? I try to save ANYTHING it defaults to 'config 1' (not something I made but installs itself in one of the 2 slots I try to save a default mapping to). On top of that, the overall experience is glitchy beyond belief from a product published by you. Text is cut off and missing in places, the menus are awkward and poorly designed. I speak for many when I say I spent $150 on a controller, and this software isn't worth a dollar of that price.

When this was updating I noticed how the Xbox button light turned off and then it said the update failed. I removed the usb from my pc and plugged it back in and it didn't respond and now the light doesn't even turn on anymore. I bought batteries hoping it would come on and it didn't. I use this for my pc and I don't have an Xbox to try and configure this problem so I'm screwed. Thanks allot Microsoft! I'll be damned if I play games with my keyboard buttons.

One of the main reasons I got this app was so that I could keep track of the battery level of my standard Xbox One S controller while I was using it wirelessly. Well, you can't do that because the app won't even recognize the controller when it's connected via Bluetooth. It will recognize the controller when it's plugged in via USB, which will allow you to do firmware updates.

I turn on my controller but its not picking it up. Even when im pressing buttons. The only button that works is B and that to close the program.... what a waste of time

My controller was working perfectly until I decided to make an update, now my controller is stuck on DFU mode and I can't get it to work ! I don't even have a Xbox One console to do the update ( my friends too doesn't have one ) all what I can see in Xbox Accessories is "Connect a controller to get started" which is all ready connected via usb !! I hope you can fix this as soon as possible.

I like that it give me a way to update the firmware on the controller, and remap what button does what. What I don't like is the fact that is broke my controller when it failed to update. Now my controller won't turn on. At all. Please don't get this. Most games on PC don't even need this to run, it's just nice to have.

I have three XBOX One controllers, none of them are Elite. Using the same official Xbox cable, the app was able to detect and update 2/3 of them on PC.

The xbox one s controller works well with windows over Bluetooth and connects faster than the older controllers that required the wireless dongle. Sometimes the controller would connect to the dongle and disconnect and I had to reboot every time it happened to fix it. So I traded my regular xbox one controller and elite controller at gamestop and was able to get a one s controller with bluetooth and now it connects perfectly every time and seems to be very low latency with my intel Bluetooth 4.2 controller. Also this app is how you update the firmware on the controller.

I don't know why the app cannot find my controller which is connected by USB. All things are good, but the app still shows that you need to connect a controller.

This app was designed for the Xbox one counsel, not for Windows 10 Xbox, so it is only to convince the client that they needed to buy Xbox one stuff; where the mouse and keyboard are probably fine for the Xbox app.

Awesome that Microsoft did this, it's a really good way to support the controller users!
