Word Squared Free

Word Squared Free is a word puzzle game and a unique take on crossword puzzles. Rearrange letters in a 3x3, 4x4, 5x5 or 6x6 grid until each row and column contains a unique, valid word (trivia fact: this is called a "double word square"). Every time you create a valid word you score a point and you can spend your points to reveal definitions for the solution word in a given row or column. Word Squared will help you along the way by visually indicating when you've guessed a solution word and/or placed a solution word in the correct row or column. With over 100 unique puzzles varying from easy to quite challenging, Word Squared is sure to provide hours of fun. Fans of crossword puzzles will love Word Squared. Was pleasant game. Would have liked to see a way to save place in puzzles. And completing phrases was not anything I cared about.

Fun word game that I would rate more highly except for two complaints. (1) The actual answer words are sometimes contained within the clues. (2) Every time the game goes into the background, it loses all the work you've done on the current game.
