As a scientist I use alarms and timers all day to run multiple experiments. Ppl also use it for cooking, exercise, laundry, etc.
I like being able to save and run multiple times.
Problems:
The timers do not run on the lock screen. Thus, I cannot check timers without unlocking my phone. Very annoying. Make this happen or build this option in the settings.
The UI of the timer is not bad, but it uses too much vertical space and leaves empty space on the left and right. It's better to make the UI more similar to the alarms app.
On that note, why doesn't the timer show the remaining time on the Live Tile on the start screen. Easy way to improve this app as well.

You can't manually input the numbers you want with this app via your keyboard. You have to use the scroll wheel on your mouse or arrow buttons to scroll to the number you want, which is staggeringly inefficient. Look for a different timer app that doesn't waste your time.

I open Alarms and Clocks from the apps selection on the opening display board and the screen opens but will not allow the world clock to open. The alarm can be opened, the stop watch can be opened and the timer can be opened but not the WORLD CLOCK.

It loads fine but when I go to save an alarm it freezes then disappears so that I have to reopen it and be told there is not an alarm set! Would be great if it could be fixed!

For what should be the ultimately simple app, Microsoft has found a way to totally neglect this basic tool. Consistently has issues, usually related to 1) Notifications stop popping up when timer is ended, 2) Sound notifications stop working, and 3) Alarms and Timers that are saved mysteriously disappear.
