Decent enough weather app, but receives no updates. Eventually it will need to be updated to continue to work. Dev seems to have abandoned.

Why a weather app requests too much permissions? Uses my phone, act as server, access to my photo gallery ***?

I've been using Vieather for a while and have been very happy with the clean, minimalistic interface. Recently I hard reset my phone - upon rebuilding it, I reinstalled Vieather. Unfortunately I can't use it as the authorization to use my location can't be completed. The request has no button to approve it. I thought this may be an issue with the version of Windows 10 I am using on my phone as I am in the Fast Ring of the Windows Insiders preview builds After installing Vieather on my Windows 10 Surface Pro 4, I had the very same results. The app installs and runs, but I can't approve the use of my location, so it cannot find a location and I can't use the app. Approving location use in Windows settings has no affect. I then tried to send the developer feedback using the link within the app and while it did open a new email in my chosen Email application (Outlook 2013), it only filled out the subject and initial body content of the email, it provided no address to send the feedback to.

Looks fantastic. Clear and easy on the eyes. But! Keeps shutting down after 15 to 30 sec'.. I go back and turn it on and in about 20 seconds or more, it shuts down. So, I removed it from my PC. I'd like to have and use it, but not as it runs/acts now. About two months ago, I tried it and same'o same'o thing happened. Fix it and I would be glad to run and use it on my PC!

Transparent tile is awesome. It is also very accurate and fast updating.

This app is the best weather app for windows 10. The tile is awesome and that is all I need it for but I wish I could make it so it only shows the latest info without flipping to show next few days or hours. Earn your fifth star and allow the option to make the tile static without flips.

One of the few weather apps that has a transparent live tile. However, the tile is ugly and cluttered, and there are no options to change it. It syncs to the cloud, which checks off my list, but it's slow and negates any advantage of doing so.

But I wish it will show the temp on taskbar.

This weather app has a transparant livetile which I liked very much, however it was updated a while back; gfx style changed which I like less, but worse it now detects wrong city for where I live. There is no way to force location (but then the livetile would be stuck on my homecity on other locations), so sadly I am looking for another app.

The icon on live tile is hard too see, I like the old one more than this one.

App looks great but needs work. Never totally pinpoints my location correctly, doesn't update live tile (needing to manually update it kind of defeats purpose of a live tile). Would possibly pay to remove ads but considering it doesn't work 100% I am hesitant. So until it works properly I won't be giving the developer any money. I do like the transparent tile though.
