I love this app. Ever since Twit on TiVo disappeared, I rediscovered this app and it is now my main Twit feed. 2 features make it stand out, the ability to pick up where you left off on any computer, and the increased speed function. So when Paul, Leo and Mary Jo forget to talk about Windows for an hour and just drone on about Apple or Google or beer or something you can really recapture some of the lost time by switching to 2X speed! Also it has 90 second skip so if you've heard enough about Harry's or Nature Box or whatever you can just skip twice and you're back to the show. I seriously doubt that the official universal Twit app Leo's been talking about will be better than this. I don't miss Twit on TiVo anymore, and probably wouldn't go back to watching that way if it came back. I think my biggest feature request would be to make the app universal so I could use it on my phone too without losing my place in the shows.

Great app, what more DEVs should do for W8.

Of the various TWiT Apps I have across my various platforms, I like this app the best because it's straight forward and just works with a clean, simple UI. I use ModernMix so I can have this off in a window while I work on my main displays. I like having a modern app now that my daily driver is a Win 8.1 Tablet (Wacom Cintiq Companion).

This app is fantastic compared to the other TWiT.TV app. Unlike the other where it crashes and won't even start up -- on Windows 8.1 -- this one actually plays and functions as it is supposed to. Definitely worth the download and if you want the ads gone in full screen view the $1.49 isn't much to ask.
