The left pane shows and covers up the screen. No way to dismiss or scroll. Simple bugs that are easy to fix but block basic usage. Ugh.

I uninstalled it and am going to try it again.

The left column doesn't disappear, making it frustrating to view search results.

I like the update! Feels pretty basic from a feature perspective so hope for more from TripAdvisor to make it 5 stars.

Every time I search for flights, it only searches for a couple of airlines. Yes, literally 2 airlines.

Webpage hosted expeience is not really satisfied. Most of the icons is blur. There is pop up of installing Andriod version recommendation on the top of the screen. Some web pages have their own hamburger button, which is the duplicated feature of the in-app hamburger button

the ui is so clean and amazing cant wait to install it on my phone.

UWP is good, if insider the app can use Windows Maps not Google Maps service, it will be better

The displays seem to omit data and are not organized well. For example, a list of Atlanta Restaurants fails to display restaurant names. The left-side photos are nice, but no name? Then the next info displayed to the right seems not stacked vertically as it should be. The look is "helter-skelter" and not attractive. The map doesn't show the chosen restaurant location and when you click on then empty map, I don't see the restaurant min the ones pinned to the map. This app needs a LOT of work. My next action ... Uninstall it.

I have used this app in the past and am glad to see it in the Windows app store. Works well for Asian locations especially for hotels in small towns.

I use TripAdvisor to plan most of my outings. Easy to use. Easy to find hotels near the attractions I want to see.

how do I make this app work

This app is absolutely useless compared to the ios app. Can't even find the correct restaurant. Can't find my proper location. This is a web app which works really bad. Better unpublish it. Uninstalled

I like that in planning a trip, I can use TripAdvisor as a one-stop shop for all my planning: flights, rental cars, hotels, great restaurants and hot spots found under one place, is my idea of perfection!!

Except that Saves don't actually get saved. I'm logged on, and saves from other devices show up, but nothing I select in this app does.

This is a great app compared to the previous version. easy to use and share hotels or anything with friends. The only issue is sometimes when going through pictures it will skip one or two of them randomly.

Like Tune-In and other good apps on other platforms, the MS Store version of Trip Advisor is a huge disappointment because you know how good it is on other platforms, or on the website itself. 1. Not intuitive to use 2. Not a single link to the well-like "Best Of" lists. 3. Poorly designed lay-out Like a bad joke or an afterthought, there was clearly zero very little effort put into making this app useful the way it is on other platforms. And MS wonders why their Store gets so little love.

Functions fine. Lacks W8 design flow, and no access to forums.
