Stops working when text is sent. I could have opted for the free app. I downloaded it guess I will go try it. How do I get a refund?

I went to this app because i wanted a way to save my texts without using the pro service from other phone/desktop text vendors. This was only a flat $2.99 as opposed $4.99 a month from the other vendors. Well those other vendor supported MMS as well as syncing your text from phone and desktop. This app works ok when the desktop is the sender. It will send the text and I can see the response from my contact. However when I use my phone and send a text, the desktop does not see my text that I sent. The other vendors had no issue with this. I'll keep looking for a reasonable priced phone/desktop app. So be careful if you decide to buy this and it doesn't meet your needs. You do not get a refund. :(

Pros: You will get the nicest display in your windows 10 computer than any other app. You can have customization of photos and messages. The backgrounds are a nice touch and looks awesome on my tiles. Cons: You manually have to input every conversation in to make it looks as nice. It does not import your contacts and contact's pictures. It falls short. They don't want to save your in for but the very least it should be able to transfer to your PC. MySMS is more practical even when they charge you 9.95 a year. At least in this aspect you can complain more and get them incentive to change. One time buy, leaves low incentive. How to improve: You are already the prettiest app out there. But as of convenience and practicality of the free version of mysms has you beat. Allow synchronization, multimedia, and contact information. Then you will for sure be the best app.

I would like for it to link to my cell phone to send texts.

Just wish the app would work as a share target. Also it looks like a Windows 8 Metro app that only got half upgraded to the Windows 10 UWP look.

I don't get all of my texts but for the most part it works well

it stop pairing with my cell even know it say that it is stiller paired with it

I ended up removing all my txting apps, in hopes of seeing received txts with this app., but I can only send from my computer. I think it is because my work phone requires me to have Google Hangouts, and the troubleshooting states I shouldn't have any other txting apps. for this to work. Screw this app!

Just the way I like my apps: simple and cheap. My only complaint is that it cannot receive MMS messages at this point in time. Also, you can't use emojis when on a desktop but that's a minor detail. All around pretty content. Using a Galaxy S6 and a Dell laptop

I've been using Text Desk for a couple of years. Don't have to watch cell while working. Highly recommended!

Off all the sms to windows programs I have ran across, this is the best so far.

This app isn't working with my Galaxy S6 even though it says they were paired. It makes me really sad because I could of used this app like crazy bad.

I want to uninstall it but it wont let me its bs not my fault a smart phone is an I phone to like really they don't say its not for I phone till it to late I want my damn money back!!!!

I like the fact that I can do this on my Android Phone to my Windows Tablet. Because, when I had my Windows Phone I was able to do it but built-in. I miss Texts, since Text Desk doesn't sync old messages, which would be even more helpful for me and complete this, that said MSFT is working on a solution for Android Phones and Windows Computers to do the same, so it works till that gets finished.

Love the app, just wish we could attach a photo or doc. Sent feedback on this and Text Desk Support responded immediately and let me know that they are working on this. Will be a 5 star app at that point. Very easy to use and convenient.

Great to be able to send/receive text messages on my Surface 4.

It gets the job done but sometimes the syncing takes awhile and sometimes it doesn't sync at all

I love how Text Desk allows me to easily text any of my contacts from any of my connected services (Google, Outlook, iCloud, Exchange, POP/IMAP, etc.) via the Windows People app.

It is easy to use and works well for me at work and home. Keeps me from playing with my phone and keeping productive

being able to respond to text message on my desktop with ease is a great boon.

I've tried virtually every text-from-computer app out there and this stands out as the best. I particularly like the fact that my personal info and data are not being stored on the developer's server.

It will send texts with no issue. Incoming texts are 50:50 whether they show up in the app or not. Even if it is an incoming text on a currently active conversation, there is no guarantee the text makes it to the app (on my surface 3). Also, it doesn't sync with your phone contacts. Says this is a "safety feature" meant to "keep your information private...". I call BS. Sounds like they were just too lazy to develop this feature... If it were free, I would understand.

I've loved having this app for my laptop. As much as I appreciate the consideration for my privacy, I'm beginning to wish that my contacts and texts could be synced with my phone and account. Also, I'd love for there to be an option to not have the Text Desk icon locked in my notification tray on my phone, as it gets very cluttered up there. I'm hoping that viewing multimedia messages is on the way, too! Very happy with this app overall, and I can't wait to see what else can be done with it.

I was looking forward to this app, but it really is subpar. Won't let me add/edit contacts and does not recognize the one's I have. Really a bust
