Though the app is nice looking, and mostly worked fast and smooth, there were some problems that made me not want to use it. The major problem is that it's like a typical iPad app. The UI is clean and nice looking, instead of being practical and efficient. You get no shortcuts and you need several clicks to get what you want. There are no tabs or anything, and it's very difficult to get from one page in your PDF to another, or from one note to another. Also, you need to use two finger to pan, even if you have an active pen, AND it takes several attempts before it responds to your swipe. Also, the highlighter is not a real highlighter. It's just one of those pens with low opacity, which cover the text. I hate those. And you can't add margins or pages to PDF files either. For now, I recommend instead OneNote for notetaking, and Xodo for PDF annotations. At least Xodo has a proper highlighter pen, and you can add pages to a document, and it's very easy to navigate.

When I try to export, it lets me select a format, either .pdf or .jpeg or .png, but instead of exporting directly to a file, tries to link it to another app, which never works. I'm not going to pay for premium features because I don't think they will work since what I have already doesn't work. For now I'll use Xodo or maybe Bamboo.

Love the android version. But can't get it to launch on my new Microsoft Surface Pro 4.And I happily paid for the Android version and am willing to pay for the Windows version.

This is a great product for use with note taking as you can (with the purchases, which are worth it) edit PDF's with whatever you want. It is very nice for writing equations, and also allows you to type directly with your keyboard. Being able to type, draw, and modify all at once make this a great note taking tool. However, as I mentioned in the title, it is optimized for a tablet, and ported to PC with much of the ease of use relying on touchscreen capabilities. If you have a touch screen, you will love this. If you don't have a touch screen, you need to look at another app. *Note: You cannot directly save the pages, you need to email them to yourself (as a pdf, jpg, or png). It is a tad annoying, but once it is set up with your mail app, isn't too much of a bother.

You can't save notes because it is supposed to auto-save everything. I created a seven page lecture note that it did not save. It shows the seven pages but it blank! Lost my notes for an entire lecture!

I took 3 stars for two major bugs I found.First it cannot export on windows 10 (or the send to device option finds no device to export to) and secondly I can't change pages with my fingers/pen .I can only change pages of the imported pdfs with the keyboard arrows which is very annoying. However since I was using this app on the android before I do believe it has a lot of potential so I'll be waiting for fixes and updates! Cheers! Edit: And it seems I cannot turn back into normal view once I hit the "full screen" button. This app requires a lot of hard work and fixes still..

Cannot get it to work, no matter what I try, loaded 4 x now, and nothing...no ability to use.

This app is terrible in comparison to other similar apps. I am a fan of the android version and it seems they intentionally made the windows version awful. Save your money, don't buy this incomplete app. Even if you buy it, you still have to buy "features" such as highlighting and even then you still can't export your files to pdf. A terrible shame.

This app is *okay* at notetaking, but I cannot export to PDF...even just to Email. I have to export as a PNG and then manually make the PDF! Please fix this

Loved the Android version, but the windows version isn't even half baked! For instance, you can't delete a notebook once you created one... no importing of your android notes. and so on.

The app works wonderfully. Unfortunately, I had an issue with my phone and had to hard reset. I lost 5 weeks worth of notes because of not having a save or backup to cloud option

i loved the note taking bit and the folders for each note, but it wasn't worth buying all the extra in my opinion when other apps give you that for free :( i understand wanting to make alil cash from an app c: but the other reviews seem to say its not worth the time/ money spent.

Any worthwhile tools are in-app purchases. This app is pure trash.

I have always been a supporter of Squid on Android and now that I purchased a Windows tablet I felt it would be easiest to install squid and purchase ALL the premium features. However, this version of Squid is SOOO bad that it is like the developer released it as an inside joke. There is no other explanation. You cannot import, export, print, restore....etc etch etc. I had to take screenshots of my work and clip them in paint to actually use them. This is by far the worst execution a developer has ever made. I truly deserve my money back and free medical sessions for my new ulcer.

This app's great feature is saving to PDF. But it will only email. Needs option to save to local system as PDF.

I uninstalled it because I could not get the damned tools out of the way at the top in the middle of the writing area. If I could do that I'd like it, but with that in the way, and very few customization options, I've settled on Write by Stylus Lab, which will give me a whole page unlittered by floating tools. Grrrr...

Good writing app ever

Paid for the backup, but it ceased to work for Windows 10. Contacted the developer twice and never got any replies.

It checks the purchase state each time the app starts, and if the device is not connecting to the internet, using premium features = crash

I am using this app on android without any problem. However, I can not restore from Dropbox. It should be resolved immediately.

Used Squid for a long time and really liked it. My Android tablet crashed and switched to MS Surface Pro 4. Performed backups every 12 hours and went to restore my Android back up files on my MS SP 4 and got an error. Each time I attempted it would result in an error. I read the Squid FAQ's and it said it could not restore on different platforms. Now it have to export 146MB of data to PDF (if that works) and upload it into my MS SP4. I'm looking into MS OneNote. Its free and it works across any platform, even a PC.

most of the options are only in the premium version. It does not respond well to my pen and writes where my hand is on the screen.

It takes much time to open app and save the note.. Rest the features are great and I really loved the refresh rate of live tile which is instant.. 👌🏻👌🏻

I've been using this app on my note 10.1 for almost a year, without any problems. The windows version for whatever reason refuses to zoom in or out half the time. I can actually see the ripples where its registering 2 fingers it just will not zoom until usually the 4th or 5th try.

Love the app, but i need the tools. That's why they made it in-app purchases I guess..

My notes broke, they won't load anymore without freezing the app. Lost 8 pages of important notes. This is after I spent money on the additional tools and cloud backup. Very disappointed in this app. Use at your own risk.
