seems glitchy to setup in Windows 10 PC. After full set-up and initial configuration it does not launch reliably.

Things that should be simple, like adding contacts to favorites, lists, etc., are either difficult to figure out or impossible to accomplish. Getting help is difficult as there are so many versions of Skype out there that many of the solutions offered apply to a different version.

Showing just messages not familiar to view, also no clarity on for which sim received if DS mobile and what received on Skype if contacts merged, not full details available. Startup also very slow 🐌, no gestures support. F**** development not improved long back......

Collaboration and integrations of new from old technology is inevitable. I am a 95 to XP user used to making changes to adapt. My older computer went down due to the aggressive Windows 10 update from Windows 7 Premium~
But I like what I see with the new system. I would recommend everyone to at least upgrade to the CORE i5 at this point~
Its the "now" in technology...

I've been using Skype long before MS bought Skype. And I've been using Nokia phones long before MS bought Nokia. My current Nokia Lumia 1020 was built by Microsoft Nokia but its 41Mp camera was built by pre-Microsoft Nokia. And Microsoft never came close to that. They used up the Nokia stock in 1020 and that was it. Even their 950 model that boasts PureView 2.0 tech does not compare. I know that for a fact because we still have the original Nokia 808, Lumia 1020, and Lumia 950 in our family.
Yet you bastardized it all. First you messed up my Skype, then you crippled my camera app, then you would not update my phone to your latest OS, and finally you dropped the support for Windows 8.1 and Skype does not work for me anymore. And that was the only MS phone service I ever used! As far as I am concerned, you just stole my phone from me. You broke it. And you did this to the millions of other users. There has to be a class suit, you should pay up, and your CEO should be demoted to janitor.

Messages don't send. Text messages don't sync properly and you can't default to send on mobile from the second SIM. Probably the worst version Skype to date.

The old version was just great, but this "new" one is unbelieveble. It's for real error by error by error. Right now we are at the point that if you use it to call someone you'll need to hard reset your xbox at the end of the call cause of it, I literally hr mine 3 times in 15 min. Bring us back the old interface cause this one is just a big pile of 💩 AND ty.

All of a sudden Skype is updating. When it does, passwords get lost and then there is a second Skype trying to install. One has to be a software expert to keep up with what Microsoft is launching on the customer. Now, all my addresses are gone, a new Skype is in the program list and both try to open when I click on the Skype icon. There are no installation dates, so which one do I uninstall? It's easier to use the telephone.

can you please get rid of the permission for this app to use my computers contacts, or at least make it so that I can disable it. I thought windows 10 was supposed to be all about personalization, and every time I turn around I cant do a single thing

I can go out, shop for a phone, negotiate for a discount, have a cup of tea, charge up my phone, turn it on and finish a call before Skype finally managed to start and log in.
