my android phone has Chromecast and in the discretion for it says it can be connected. when I tried to find away to cast to app I can't.

I will not purchase this app. The company is a joke.
Their support site says read everything before contacting us. I did. I still have questions. They offer no means of contacting them.
Does it transcode flac for play on my Yamaha DLNA receiver? If it does, I don't want it.
24 hours to trial the product is a joke. I trialed it. Played 2 songs. That's it.

Love the app and nicely designed.
Though running it on Chrome Cast 2 it seems to be a tad buggy and the app tends to freeze when you fidget (Pausing or forwarding) with it while it's playing at least 3 out of 5 times. I hope it get's fixed soon.

It was working great with my apple TV but after an security update on apple TV I cant stream from my Lumia 650 to my apple TV.
It needs a first time passcode for connecting but Playcast doesn't support that.

Have Windows 10 PC and Chromecast. Clicked the button to cast to my Chromecast, pressed play on the file, nothing happens. Waste of time.

My Windows doesn't work well with my Chrome Cast but with this app I can cast to my Smart TV all the torrents I download

Worked the way we liked with Chromecast, as far as streaming pictures from picture file as a slide show. A little fussy when changing file to cast. Usually freezes. I have the confidence that the developer will probably fix that issue..

I own a Windows 10 computer which doesn't miracast and want to play my music to the many other devices I own. This app can play to my chromecast, airplay and dlna devices without a problem. Added benefit is that chromecast can play in more than one room at a time so this allows me to hear my songs all over the house.

I am using a Sony HT RT-5 soundbar. All our phones can connect to it and play music. Playcast can also connect to it and play Music - for 54 seconds! However I try the Music gets cut off after 54 seconds. Useless. Please fix this and my rating will be much higher!

Works very well with the formats that it supports but occasionally lets me down, then I have to do a format conversion that can take several hours.

As others have said, this app is not worth the money. Even installed it on my Roku and the server app (PlayOn) on my PC. Navigation is poor. To remove channels, you have to unselect each one. There is no select all or multiselect, making removing channels painfully tedious. Streaming from the PlayOn server to the Roku was like trying to stream HD movies at 3G speeds (lots of buffering). 10 minutes into my casting experience netted me the first 4 minutes of a movie. Soooooo want my money and time back!

So far this app works great. I would like to see the ability to save a URL as a source so I don't have to go to the web page and copy it each time

Keeps going back to the try it screen before I can actually try it. Haven't successfully launched a video yet because I can't browse OneDrive fast enough before my seconds are finished and I'm back to try it and start all over again. Either the try it function is hosed or it's a sign that this app isn't a good purchase.
