I forgot to update my review! They fixed that problem I mentioned before... so all seems well again. I use "One Note" for a LOT of things - including as a shopping list. I would love to see a feature added, that allows the user to designate a note as a shopping list. That way, when you use the "checkbox" to check off an item you have purchased, it moves it to the bottom of the list. I would also ask that this "shopping list" designation would REMEMBER the order where you place items in the list... so when you uncheck your shopping list later to use again, it is in the same spot BEFORE it gets moved to the bottom when checked (this is because grocery stores have a certain layout, and I try to shop from one end to the other (saving cold and frozen items for last), and not backtrack through the store). I'm sure this would be a well-liked feature!

I've been OneNote fan for 5-6 years, and created many notebooks and pages. OneNote can replace Word as an editor for everything but the most complex document. OneNote also just automatically save everything, which is nice. Office 365 version is great for all this, but it really shines with groupware features. Try working together in OneNote pages, saved on SharePoint folders, and working in Skype For Business. Other's edits just arrive in the copy you see. Very nice.

I love being able to jot notes or capture a comment and have it instantly available to share in any other app. So useful I want a link from those apps that takes me directly to OneNote to pull up what I need. Even with out the link, the tile works pretty well. Now that I have some of those links, it is much more useful. Would love to have it in the kindle app.

I use this app daily on PC and phone. Great for to do lists, jotting down ideas, replacement part lists, etc. Everything on one place. Easy to share notes with others

What i love about one note is the ability to easily share it over the cloud. I'm able to keep my notes across all of my devices, whether i'm on one of my VHD's, work computer,or personal computers. It's great, and in a pinch i can get to my info from my cellphone too.

Use it daily on all my devices. Just keeps getting better with each update.

New ui is great. If they can give some functionality with search button this would be grate.

My favorite thing about this app is that with wifi, I can access my desktop sources on my laptop computer. I love the "checkbox list" function. I'm still figuring out a few things and I know this app is more versatile than I am currently using it for. But it's a great place to keep disparate resources in the same place - especially sources that won't show up on my final bibliography (tangential Wikipedia articles, for example). I don't like the app's invasiveness - that I'm required to log in with an email address I don't ever use and can't remember. I'm absolutely paranoid about losing the password, because I'll never remember it if ever called on to do so, and I don't use the email address associated with it. There are a few formatting issues - copying and pasting from static documents (.pdfs, mostly) can be awkward. Text boxes aren't clearly separated or controllable, and since I work mostly with text, that's discouraging.

2016 one note is definitely not easy to use as previous 2013 version, especially in Windows 10. since I've been upgraded, I had multiple times sync error for unknown reasons. secondly, I am not able to sync the one page in the notebook on one of my 3 laptops, which had never happened before, so I have to use webpage instead. lastly, I have to occasionally restart the one note application to restore the displaying issue like cursor malfunction etc. overall, a lots of bugs needs to be fixed. if I didn't use one note before and have lots of notes already, I would not use this product.

Don't like: Syncing takes ages, can't rename tabs and difficulty aligning separate elements.

It's a nice, simple notebook app. It is annoying that you need to log in using a Microsoft or other accepted email service, but once everything is set up, it is very useful. You can split everything up in notebooks and pages, and you can arrange those pages however you want. I use it to transfer my written class notes to digital for memorization and digitization. Once it's digitized I can share it with my class mates for studying and what not. Simple, easy to use, and well designed.

It has serious issues; the ones you must already know about.

It lets me put all my thoughts in one place clearly. I can go back and add more notes anytime. Using it, it gets me to start my day with ease of mind.

My work has become more productive by about 10% after I got familiar with OneNote. Gone are the multiple notebooks I used to manage. I even carried it over to organize my personal life. Well done MS.

I always was a fan of OneNote. Now, the new format makes it even better to file and retrieve notes

De cand am descoperit OneNote si m-am jucat putin cu aplicatia, mi-am dat seama ca este o aplicatie foarte utila. Acum o folosesc zilnic atat pe mobil cat si pe PC pentru toate tipurile de notite si a devenit aplicatia mea preferata.

I can't say enough about OneNote. Even with some quirks from time to time, it's still head and shoulders above any other tool for organizing, marking up, and storing pages and pages of class notes. With the snip tool, it's even more functional. (I snip images and then label them by hand, and snip parts of old notes into new ones when I need to remind myself of a concept learned before that applies to new learning.) I've convinced so many of my classmates to switch to OneNote, and everyone loves it. Well done.

The only notes app you and your family needs! We use it to share family travel plans among multiple users. I use my own notebook to keep track of everything I need to. I love that I can create, modify and view my notes across all my devices.

I love how I can easily get to my personal and work notes from all my devices. I wish it was easier to use with my touch screen, it's hard to highlight text and place the cursor in the right place.

Our processes are constantly changing. One Note allows me to keep my notes organized by topic. I keep it open during the day for reference. I've told coworkers about it, but I haven't figured out how to email them parts of my template (w/o personal info). Tables and Formatting have improved. I wish tables had more functionality (simple tasks like AutoSum). I gave it a 4-star rating because I wouldn't want to go through my day w/o it, and there's more I can do with it, but just haven't taken the time to learn.

OneNote is a breeze to use and really keeps my daily task organized. Thanks MS!

Very good for my traveling work life style keep track of things from job, airport back to office get to the office update what's needed on the computer.

Love this app, I use it for work and home to keep track of everything. Love the mobile app as well. It is so nice that OneNote updates in real time so I always have the lastest version of my notes at the palm of my hand. I also love that I can add text or graphics any where on each page without having to space or do carriage returns/columns. Thanks for a great product!

Love One Note. Can share my notes between colleagues. Easily take notes for meetings and clients inside the program and they are always stored.

With multiple projects, keeping up with tasks and meeting notes, would be next to impossible without this app. Highly recommended. Especially when paired with one drive, notes from all devices automatically sync.

I use if for mostly basic items such as creating reminder lists, grocery lists and keeping notes for my own review. I LIKE the idea of sending photos from one device to another but rarely use it.

I like how easy and simple this is to take down quick notes and how its synced so easily between devices. I like the ability to actually write notes with a touch screen hybrid device. I hope it is available for android though. I am switching to an android device due to the disappointment in the in the development of the mobile division. Would love this app to follow me there.

I had this pinned to the taskbar, but after the latest update the icon was blank. I unpinned it thinking I could repin it again and fix the issue, but now the option to pin it to the taskbar is gone. Help!

Love the APP...easy to use. Don't need to keep or store in any cloud storage though and seems like every app wants to store everything in cloud storage which I don't need.

I understand that the point is to make this app very user friendly but for people that know what they are doing and want to transfer the notes from one computer to another on a different account. It can be done but it is not as easy as just coping a file like it should be.
