MyRadar

MyRadar is a fast, easy-to-use, weather application that displays animated weather radar around your current location, allowing you to quickly see what weather is coming your way. Just start the app, and your location pops up with animated weather, allowing you to easily see if rain is approaching. Our high-definition animated radar helps you see weather details even at the closest level! What's great about MyRadar is that the map is easily zoomed and scrolled around with the flick of a finger, allowing you to quickly check the weather in other parts of the country, including Hawaii & Puerto Rico! On top of the basic weather, users can get a quick glance of temperatures around the country, as well as overlay a current satellite image of cloud cover. Additional features include weather warnings and alerts, complete with push notifications, to warn you of severe weather in your area. Great for the start of thunderstorm and tornado season! There's also an optional upgrade to remove ads and activate the live tile feature. The optional hurricane tracker upgrade provides excellent details and projections for the path of storms. MyRadar currently only shows weather in the United States and Canada

Features:

  • Weather radar (animated)
  • Radar Live Tile (requires Remove Ads upgrade)
  • Pan and Zoom anywhere
  • National Weather Service Warnings
  • Hurricane Tracker (optional upgrade)
  • Road and Satellite views
  • Temperatures
  • Cloud layer
  • Aviation layers (airmets, sigmets, and TFRs)

There really isn't anything I dislike about this application. It opens quickly and shows a time lapse of the storms in the area and their movement. Great colors and contrast too.

I loved this app before the latest update but now I cannot get it to load. Too bad because before then I would have given it 5 stars. I tried to uninstall and reinstall with no luck

Nice app you can view the hole country and see where all the storms are when you are traveling. Sometimes have to reload it into my computer but that could be because my computer was a windows 7 now it is windows 10

Easily one of the better radar apps I've seen on Windows. Performance leaves something to be desired though, and it could use an option for raw/not-smoothed radar data (similar to the radarscope app available on iOS and Android that many professionals use). I would also really really love to see live lightning strike data.
