Was hoping for something more than Microsoft player functionality, but doesn't seem to offer anything else. The "Microsoft App" feel is pretty bad, takes over the screen and isn't manageable. Going to delete this.

The change audio speed feature does not work very well with touch controls. It was very hard to get the speed to change. Sometimes it would change a lot and other times not at all. couldn't consistently set it how I wanted. Turned off background audio and it still didn't work. Also does not have support for chapter markers in m4v/mp4 files.

Love the way it work, love layout and no lag or stuttering. Plays all the formats I use. Much better than installed video app. -Surface RT

I've tried many media players on windows 8 UI but this one stands on top with its touch-based controls such as speed control. It's fast and let's you choose the color of the interface (apart from that of the Windows itself) and as expected a "URL" opening makes this a necessary app for metro style lovers. Not being able to play MKV at this stage of the development seems to be a way to avoid compatibility issues for MKV is still something difficult to deal with for programmers.

it is an good app but here are some problems because repeat option and language change option misses , u should improve it and also provide all format support.

I was impressed by picture quality. I love that it can play my AVI content.

As I tried to play the 3gp file, it shown a message containing that, you're missing a codec. so, which codec is to be installed? And by installing the codec, how it'll play the particular type of video format? Hope, i'l get a reply from you soon..

I like it, not because it is the best media player, but because it is the first effort of the type, while it is more complete than native win-8 Microsoft apps. Several suggestions for its improvement are already there, so hoping few regular updates for maintenance and improvement from the developers. For the time being, Excellent and 10/10 for the developers. And a big smile to appreciate :)
