Seems like all the other versions were updated, why not this one?

Interface seems unnecessarily complicated, but once you get used to it and figure it out, it is very functional, but nothing special. It does play movies and show pictures natively so it is useful in that respect. Still, $15 for a file manager is a bit steep when the built in file explorer is free and their are cheaper alternatives.

new post...I was running both the pro version and surface. They apparently did not like each other since I uninstalled pro which made surface run great!! I'm very glad. I've used and rate the old version a five. It was great for what I needed. Now both pro and surface hang up constantly. I'm using surface 4 and windows 10.

very good app for fast working and simple in use of file explorer and no required close any music&video folder for listening and viewing different music and video because every file open in open folder

Metro Commander Surface Edition is a little pricey but it gets the job done better than anything else.

Got this app so I can use my nokia lumia 2520 as a media tablet in the car. Worth the money, does its job well and looks good.

its ok, I am so use to wicmd, that why I choose this, but it might be time to do some browning at the app store.
