LDS Tools

The LDS Tools app provides members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with the ability to contact ward and stake members and access event calendars. NOTE: Adding additional membership data and reports to the Windows version of LDS Tools that currently exist in the iOS and Android versions of LDS Tools is being evaluated, but no timeline has been established at this point.

Features:

Directory. Access contact information and photos of members in your ward and stake.
Callings. Access calling information of members in your ward and stake.
Calendar. Access the event calendars for your ward and for your stake.

I don't have extensive needs, so I don't know how deep the functionality goes on this version of LDS Tools, but for common needs (i.e. calendar access, contact lookup, role specific contact lookup, etc.), this works perfectly. Kudos to the developers for putting together a modern, responsive universal interface.

why is this app not like the ones available on the cell phones. This will not let you access reports, lists etc.

Does not sync with the one on LDS.org. So you can not be sure if a date is open or facility unless you are on a computer. The one on you your phone does not sync with the Church.
