I used to not like this game because of various reasons, but if you give the game a chance for a couple days, it'll grow on you and you will become addicted to this game like I did! Love the game! Yes, you do need to spend money in order to do any real damage in the game, but you don't need to spend much if you just wanna do a little bit of fighting here and there and are more about advancing your city like me. Plus they give you a 500 gold start up bonus for just $5! Which was REAALLLY good! the value of the gold is good for your money and they routinely give you gold as you level up and complete certain things. They also let you do a free speed up at 4-5 mins, so if you have 4-5mins left to build, recruit, or research, then it'll give it to you for free! They also have designated level maps, so no one from a really high level is going to steal everything you worked so hard for! Love the game!

Nice graphics on the settlements and buildings, but It would be nice to see some actual fighting action. I didn't like being told the outcome of a battle without seeing a battle. It was just plain boring for me. I expected graphics like an older game called "Age of Kings".

Did not work at all after clicking start new. could not click or tap anything, including where they were telling me to. I think the tutorial was broken. Playing on a new 17.4" UHD laptop, 16 gb ram, SSD, Intel core i7 6500 2.5 ghz, so i dont think it was my computer.

Tutorials could be a little better, a lot of it is learn as you go, mostly by user error and then you have to start over to try to get to a better place. Would be nice if you could have a clue what you were doing before you had to do a lot of it. Thankfully my husband plays and can help me before I screw up my game too badly, lol.
