Won't recognize the scanner on the OfficeJet 4500 or the status of the printer either wirelessly or with the USB. I could go one, but it would be a waste of more time. Why did you change the previous app? It was wonderful.

It has potential but work is needed to this app. It doesn't refreshes the printer automatically, when ever I move from one location to next. I have to manually refresh the printers for it connect to the correct printer. I should be done automatically.

Trying to scan documents to PDF, multiple PDF readers unable to read files from PC, Mac or mobile. Saves a completely useless file.

I opened my printer app to scan some documents and got the notification that it was updated to this piece of garbage. It took forever to get connected back to my wireless printer and now the stupid thing just sits there when you try to scan. It has basically turned my printer into a large paper weight. I have re-installed the printer 3 times, updated the drivers and removed this stupid app and reinstalled it. Still nothing. I wish that there was less than 1 star to give this crap!

Scanner app is now not functional. Talked to HP, who said it was a compatibility issue on the Windows app side.

This is absolutely terrible. The HP printer is top notch, and then there is this software. My printer is offline and the software still "sees" it, and inaccurately reports every detail of its status. Attempting to go through the setup process becomes quite frustrating, because 90% of the focus of this app is to sell ink subscriptions. Can we focus on getting the printer to stay connected to the computer, without going offline spontaneously? Or maybe getting the software to even recognize that a printer is no longer online? I'd recommend staying away from this, but you are kind of stuck if you already bought HP...

This app worked great previously. However, when the latest update happened, changing it to HP Smart, it no longer worked. When I try to scan something absolutely nothing happens - no error message or anything. The help features just tell you how to complete the scan. There is no troubleshooting if it's not working. I had to download a different app just to scan a document onto my computer. This app worked perfectly literally last week and now it's a complete waste of space on my computer.

Software is utterly useless and poorly designed. Can't scan a single document. I can right click on the printer in control panel and scan but HP software can't recognize this feature on the printer. Last HP product I purchase.

Why the hell would you guys take a perfectly designed app to create this crap. I cant scan not a darn thing and this **** crashes all the time. I used this app for my job and now I'm losing my mind. I have to find another solution to get my job done!!!!!!!!
