Fedora Reader

Fedora Reader is a fast, minimalist RSS feed reader. It allows you to add your own feeds via URL, or choose from a large list of categorized, curated feeds. If you allow it, Fedora Reader runs in the background to keep your feeds up to date so you don't miss anything. (Internet connection required) Since RSS feeds typically only contain truncated articles, Fedora Reader extracts the content from each article and displays it in a clean, easy to read format, so you don't have to open every article in the browser if you want to read it in its entirety. Fedora Reader also allows you to mark articles as favorite, so you don’t have to go digging through your feeds to find an article.

Features:

  • Add feeds
  • Favorite articles
  • Read articles in app or view in browser

Get right to the material you want. Great app. Suggest 1 enhancement, be able to limit the number of entries per feed to help manage data draw and performance.

I love the new reader and UI/UX. Takes a basic premise (RSS) and makes an excellent version with a unique twist on UI. Only change is maybe add a left-hand mode that switches UI side. Needs update for Continuum.

Love the interface! Sometimes problems syncing, but I will survive

1-I had to reinstall because the app crashed after a few weeks of use, now works fine, but I guess I will have to reinstall again and again in order to maybe clear the mem use. I candidly suggest to provide an alternative way. 2-After the 1st launch, the source settings disappears, same as above. 3-More sources are welcome, preferably with readable RSS. 4-A "save/copy as ... To ..." menu would also be welcome. In synthesis, a good app than has a huge potential if implemented as many users suggest. Thank You. Nokia Lumia 530, Denim

But now it crashes and I can't use it.

Crashes randomly, missing some features that could help with the organizing of the feeds by category. Some Cortana integration would be nice, but not a deal breaker. Like the app, but won't meet my needs at this point in time. If the interface were more like nextgen(minus the forcing use of and only option being feedly), with fedora's current features, I will would gladly reinstall.

Crashes every other article. Sorry, I've uninstalled it.

No pics, no grouping, doesn't search for feed url, despite more than one feed shows only top feed in "all"
