Its a power point on super high power mode! I can use it for the student led projects !

I love this app. Its like a better Google slides with more tools. But there is one thing I would like. I want to be able to search the web inside the app and use without downloading it. Aside from that though, theres no flaws.

I hope that I can download this app in windows phone 10

Old review: Doesn't have support for opening xpl. project files locally. This doesn't make much sense for a windows app. Otherwise it seems fair, but this lack of one very important feature brings down the whole app. Edit: Apparently .xpl files are an old format that showbie used to save projects. Apparently our app on the school ipad was only outdated, my bad. It still wouldn't hurt to have support for that legacy file type as well, but the lack of it is understandable. Kudos for the quick developer response as well.

The new subscription service is annoying. Have stopped using the apps. Prefer buying one time.

I could not edit the timeline. Maybe this feature is only available on iPad version?

its not easy to impress me, yet this app did it. Great work, easy to use and great features for educators. Well done. I am not yet sure if these features will continue for free or not.

Definitely not an photo editor, power point, or art app. I don't get why people would use this. But its good for taking up space on your device and using battery. xD

The app would be great if it worked. Unfortunately several projects I attempted to do (for a class, with deadlines) just stopped working after slide 8. In three different projects the same thing happened; when I got to the 8th slide, every file I tried to add gave me a "The file is corrupted" message...even files that had worked in previous slides. And here's the thing - it's not like you can just skip slide 8, because once that happens, you can't add *anything* to *any* slide, and then when you try to review previous slides, the program freezes. When you shut it down and reboot it, if you try to delete any slides the program just plain crashes. So if you want to waste a ton of time and risk missing deadlines, this is the app for you. If you prefer a smoothly operating presentation program, look elsewhere.

I liked Explain Everything on the iPAD but am having some trouble transitioning to using it on my Windows Surface. I can't seem to get any of the fine tune sound editing tools to work. I can select, split and delete parts of a track.

The only thing I would like to see in this app, is the auto switch from touch to pen when I use my pen vs touch. Also to automatically switch to eraser when I flip my pen over (Surface Pro). That in itself would earn it 2 more stars from me.

This app is absolutely amazing! I love how versatile it is with everything. There is one thing that I think would be an awesome feature. I am using the new Surface Book. I think that it would be pretty cool if the app recognized when a person was using the Drawing end or the eraser end of the app. That would make switching between the two more seamless. Even without that though it is pretty amazing. Thank you so much you have saved my teaching!

Program was designed with a tablet in mind, and does not work effectively on a desktop computer. Uploading a video created on a desktop to the Explore Everything website resulted in changes to object size and position, ruining the presentation. When attempting to upload directly to YouTube, the program closed when the upload got to 100%, failing to actually save the video.

firstly the recording could not be export to my pc , please fix this issue soon, and then its mic seems not working sometime while recording, when I check my recording there is no voice recorded so please fix this also as soon as possible

This app is amazing when it comes to making engaging content. I started using it on a first generation iPad and made the jump to using it on a Surface Pro 4. The major issue, however, is that you can hear the moving of the pen while annotating and recording. This is a major distraction. I've tried changing the settings on the pen and on the microphone to no avail. Its a great app, one that I will swear by to the bitter end, but hearing the pen on the screen while recording is just like watching a great movie in the theatre with people talking behind you....

I like you can manipulate drawings an change their size.

This is a wonderful app on my iPad. Can't rate it highly enough but is absolutely useless on my PC. I backed up two projects to my google drive and dropbox. I copied them locally to the desktop of my PC but I can't find any way to open them on my PC. I've paid for the iOS version and have downloaded the Windows PC version to find out that I only have access to a 30 day trial! I wouldn't pay for this app on PC anyway as it doesn't work. What's the point. Very disappointed.

super excited to start using this app right now for STAAR review for my fifth grade science students

Absolutely love the new portal and design!

I am a big fan of Explain Everything, so giving this app less than 5 stars...hurts. I hate to do it, but I have to be honest. First, why I love Explain Everything - this app is available albeit in varying functionalities across platforms, it's simple to use, & has a consistent look and feel. It's great for all manner of projects & really the only limitations are your imagination. With that being said, why the negative rating? This app for Windows performs pretty poorly. The main issue that keeps reoccurring for no reason is the tool bar just disappears. When this occurs you can't do anything; no tool is active. There isn't a way to "make it reappear" or activate it elsewhere in the app. The tool bar displays for all of 3 seconds when you start a project and then fades away. Swiping just throws you out of the app & tapping does nothing whatsoever. I've noticed the record feature doesn't work as well, no idea if that is functionality that is coming or just another bug. Help!

The new version looks exactly like the iOS version with many of the same features. Also a new content portal - amazing updates!!

Does Everything I Need!

Videos appear to record, but are quickly erased once I stop recording. Until this feature is fixed the app is fairly useless. Too bad - it looks great and offers a clean simple interface.

I like the simplicity of using the app. However, the eraser does not work and when I click on one icon, the one above or below it actually pops up. If this was fixed, it would be great! As a teacher, I would love to use this.

A new and similar look to the other versions, more functions and a new portal to upload my projects? Yes please!
