English Misc

English Misc is a set of small tools taking advantage of Google translator to help you improve your English. What if you speak English already? Then you can use English Misc to learn other languages. So what can we do with this app? • "Word test": you will listen to a word and type exactly it letter by letter. If you fail, the word will be automatically added to "word list", and you can view its definition as well as its illustrations. You can tap on a word to pronounce and/or define it in your favorite language, and you can tap on the illustration to change the image. "Word test" contains very general English word in many fields, its purpose is to help you familiar with the pronunciation of daily word. • "Translator": this is similar to Google Translator. It can help you translate your text from a language to another rapidly. You can type the text, paste from some where, or even input the text by voice (if the choosen language supports voice recognition). Translator also support auto detection, which is useful when you want to know what language some text is written in. • "Read out loud": some famous saying or idiom has been displayed, and you will read it out loud. It will help you improve your English reading & speaking skill. If there is any word that you want to know its meaning, just simply tap on it. • "Word list": here is the list of words that automatically added from "word test", and you can add a word to this list manually also. This list helps you learn new words anytime you want English Misc supports live tile, which is useful to learn new word from "word list". So don't forget to pin it to start. • "Browser": you can use this to read websites (news, magazines...) in foreign languages. When you tap on a word or select a phrase, sentence or even paragraph, it will help you to translate that into your desired language (which can be changed easily by tapping on the language button).
