The Amazon app for Windows Phone used to be awesome. Then they took it away and have us this piece of garbage. Get with the program. We need the ability to scan UPC codes and everything else you can do on iOS and Android.
Save your storage space and peruse Amazon from your Edge browser.

Seems pretty decent at first but not being able to switch to Smile or having your web browser pop up when you try to watch a move, defeats the purpose of even having the app.

We've become some serious shoppers on Amazon. Anything we need, we check Amazon first. I don't want to love this but, dang it, I do. We've had a Prime membership for 2 or 3 years now. If we ever need to return something due to needing a different size, etc., we have absolutely no problem. Always easy & always fast. I honestly don't have any complaints.

This app is usable but doesn't have much functionality in the sense that an app should. No ability that I can see to add notifications, to adjust settings etc.. Please update or refresh.

Started out great. But then I go to watch something on Prime TV and it spits me out into my browser. Let me get this straight? I can't watch content from within the app? I like what you have so far, but I hope you're still working on it. Will re-rate when it improves.

Would be nice to have a somewhat of a custom interface. something where the menu could take you to purchases and account info.
You can still get to all of that, its just not very user friendly.

it worked ok but was soooo slow I uninstalled it and decided to rather use the website this app wasted so much of my time

You're better off using a normal web browser. If you try to play Amazon videos via app, it fails at fullscreen and doesn't provide the codecs needed for surround sound. Amazon should scrap this and work on a functioning video app if they want to compete with Netflix.

I've had both a Microsoft Windows 8 and Windows 10 phone and whenever I try to use the app I get an internal error message and it tells me to back later. There is never a later.

I have been waiting for months and months for an update that would hopefully fix this app and maybe even give it new features like shipment tracking notifications, but it remains a simple web wrapper with nothing but an additional sidebar that does nothing but take up space and send you to a empty settings menu.
Previously there was a windows 8 app that was an actual app, it had a clean ui that was not a simple web wrapper like this one, while this app works, it is very slow and the reason its ridiculously slow is because it gives ads priority over your browsing experience. This means that the ads load before the content your browsing loads, and if the ads don't load it stalls the entire browsing until the ad is loaded, effectively making the app worse than the website since the site at least gives priority to everything else.
The app doesn't even save your password, you have to enter it every time, put being said Edge with Ublock is better than this app at the moment, it needs work.
