One can argue that simplicity is met. Perhaps in the basic functionality but maybe not in practical useage. I am looking for a simple whiteboard for presentations (projected off my laptop) and I installed this to test it out. While it does what it claims, there are a few standard features it lacks. First, there is no undo. Unlike a physical board, I'm writing with a clumsy tool. Mistakes happen and a quick undo resolves the issue. Trying to erase an errant line without destroying the rest of the presentation makes this app fail alone. Since I have to rely on the eraser, it would be nice to see at least a circle indicating tool size so I know where I am erasing. Finally, I find the tool bar at the bottom interferes with my Windows taskbar (and probably Apple too). I find if I'm not careful the taskbar pops up covering the toolbar. It would be nice to be able to reposition the tools. Otherwise, a really nice program. I'm uninstalling but may return as I like the potential.

Great potential here. Let's add a few things: 1) Support erase automatically with Surface Pen 2) Allow thicker pen widths (especially on the eraser!) 3) Support "Share" (email/etc) and Copy to Clipboard for collaboration.

So far this is the best writing program for my surface 3. It doesn't try to do anything fancy. Other programs should take note on how clear you can write with this program. Pros: Free Smooth input response Clear writing Cons: The eraser could be bigger. No lined pagers.
