I love the entire apt..however...I d like to have a icon for it appear in the bottom tray when I sign on to my comp...is much easier to check my weather that way.......

I like the Weather Channel but I hate the App in Windows 10. In Windows 8, I could open the app and leave it open in the background completely hidden. Then when needed, I could quickly open it and scroll to what I wanted to see. The radar was wonderful. In Win 10 there I have to log-in to Microsoft to use the app. Microsoft has destroyed the experience by forcing everything to be done only while logged in.

After you figure out Windows 10 is half the problem, and after you figure out your Location settings, and after you figure out your Internet settings, and after you figure out your Anti-Virus / Anti-Malware / Firewall settings, and after you figure out your Weather Channel Account settings... You will discover this app works perfectly like it's supposed to. So if you're having problems today, then it probably has something to do with all of the settings EVERY-FRICKIN-WHERE. lol

When ever I turn my computer on it loads and launches Weather channel but older version conflict it also loads little temperature box on toll bar but no temp showing .Don't think Windows 10 has that !!! I cant get rid of it .Asks me to update ap brings me to this page and it will tell me product already installed LAUNCH

I wish it was easier and more customizable to manage my saved locations. I would like to be able to rearrange the order of saved places or to have the option to always open to my current location

Why doesn't it appear in the taskbar like previous versions of windows? I'm on a windows 10 machine now and I have to open it to see the temperature.

I love the hour to hour reports that go out to 48 hours. The graphics are excellent. Looking two weeks ahead seems helpful to planning an outdoor activity in advance. However, I find it a nuisance that every individual weather location I look up ends up permanently on the bar on top, with no seeming way to delete the ones I only used once. Each time I open the app the location defaults to the first area I looked up while traveling during a day trip. I want to choose which locations remain on my list.

The app provides all the weather information I need. My only problem with it is that is has no notification area icon like all the previous versions of the app.

Love the app on my laptop, makes it easy to check, especially when making appointments as I do't want to rush out in the rain!!! Thanks so much for this!

I like the program and had it on my computer for a couple of years. Then TWC had an update. I have made multiple attempts to update it on my computer. It would never take. I have "launched" the new weather app multiple times and it just doesn't seem to want to stay on my computer. The next thing I know I get an "Uh oh" message from TWC. I am persistent & kept trying though. Finally got it to update today!! I love the icon in my tray. I depend on TWC multiple times a day. The weather information for my specific location is an awesome feature. I enjoy the beautiful pictures and the weather graphics are easy to understand and interesting. Our children live in different parts of the country and we even have a nephew overseas. I have all their locations in my "favorites" for a quick and easy way to discover their weather. Over all I give this website 5 stars!

This app by The Weather Channel is very useful and also easy to use. I like the occasional suggestions for a video about some weather headline as it breaks across the country or some other weather related event around the world.

I have always found the weather channel the most reliable of any source. Accurate quickly update live coverage is spectacular. My only issue with this app is that I cannot delete one location and not enough slots to cover my entire work / travel area but that part is easy enough to fix with a second account. Allows for quick ready reference when planning and scheduling areas of work and repairs. Having it desktop accessible is a great planning tool for scheduling when your work is 95% outside

I wish that the app would provide you with the temp in the tray (laptops/desktops), like it used to a few years back. I don't want to have to open the app before I can see the temp. If that could be added, that would be great. Otherwise, as always, it's very useful, needed and appreciated.

As a truck driver I like to be able to see what I'm heading into. This has proven to be about the most accurate site for weather that I've found. The ability to add all the locations I travel to makes my job easier. It's nice to know that I may be freezing today but in 2 or 3 days I'll be basking in the 80's. No complaints so far.

Average. App would be better if the data was consistently shown for local current conditions. Temperatures especially. While 3 day forecast is good, I am more interested in today when I look at the live tile.

This updated app is great. The screens a have a good flow of info from one section to the next. The only reason it gets a 4 instead of a 5 is because of the ads.

I find The Weather Channel is more accurate than MSN Weather. There forecasted temps are always off from 2-5 degrees lower than actual temps; rain when there isn't & visa versa. I like the animal stories presented. Tired of hearing about climate change. I gave 4 stars as there is always room for improvement.

Weather Reports on this app has saved me a countless of times when planning my daily tasks. The mini video's are very educational to watch as well. There is not much I do not like. Keep up the fantastic works.

Love ❤ that it shows the current temperature and humidity level, hourly degree through the day, and most importantly that it sends alerts when bad weather is approaching.

Like the radar and news with video feeds. Noticed radar seems to show weather as more extreme than what it is but looks good. Forecast weather is not so accurate but them weather patterns are not always exact.
