When I first got this I was impressed by how fun this game presented itself, both in look and AI. But the thing I loved about Unbalanced's Chess game is the undoing here. On the last 15 levels you can be prepared to not play much at all. One wrong flip and the AI finds every way to keep you from being able to make a move. I played a game where I got five moves the entire game and watched as it flipped white tiles until the whole board was covered. Nothing worse than watching a game play against you and not being able to react to its strategy. After beating it severely for the first 15 levels I was blown away but how drastic it flips the switch between 15 and 16 difficulties. The unlocks are few. I didn't get my first board/piece unlock until my eighth consecutive win and then on my fifteenth consecutive win. AI needs tweaking and like all of Unbalanced games, needs a true beginner level for people who just learned this game exists. Too hard for kids.

It feels exactly like you are playing on the physical board game. This is probably my favorite game of all time. I play it all the time on my cell and tablet and just happened to come across it on the Windows store. Highly recommend this game. I find it more exciting than chess. Also, they did a great job in the settings area where you have a host of options to help you learn the game better, not to mention your choice of color and sound.

Fun little "pick up and play" game that is FAMILY-FRIENDLY (meaning, "NO violence involved!") But be WARNED!!! The game CAN become ADDICTIVE...once you get started...EVEN A HERD OF WILD HORSES COULD NOT DRAG YOU AWAY FROM THIS GAME (SO...IF you manage to win EVEN ONE game, it's in YOUR BEST INTERESTS to "QUIT, WHILE YOU ARE AHEAD"!)!!! LOL ;-)

This program plays an excellent game. I have been playing at level 30, trying to determine the strategy for winning despite having taken 2 corners myself. I have had absolutely no problems with the program, and I am running on a Widows 10 laptop.
