I have been a user for years. Better than Microsoft Remote Desktop.

I like that I have access to my network from any of my devices from anywhere in the world.

Works like if you were right on your desktop at home.

This brought life back to my RT. great app. Great service.

Set up Splashtop streamer on my PC and Splashtop app on my Surface Pro. When I connect, all I see is a black screen and a lagging mouse. I can see that it is moving on my desktop, but cannot get the desktop screen to show on my surface. Been searching for answers with no success.

I deleted this the minute I seen it, just like I did with Skype which will stay deleted. I thought it was just a new Skype type of garbage that would give out my personal info to everyone and anyone that will pay them. This turned out to be ok. But if you will pay them they will allow you to use it between your house and your moms to help her with her computer problems. Other wise it is for use on your own network only. So not of much use as you can just walk in the other room and fix moms computer. Pretty much a waste of time. The Biggest problem is your phone normally has a smaller screen dpi than your computer. Which means it resizes your windows on your computer and does not put them back to how they were before. But it does work if you are in a bind. When I checked it was 17 a year to use the program. As much use as I would have for this program I could drive there fix their computer and drive back 4 times a year and still save money by not buying this

Does not always connect. Destination screen toolbar is obscured by connecting machine toolbar.

If this app was better supported and kept up with other tech, It would be top of the line. Devs dont seem to actually respond to regular people... Only big biz.

I have been using Splashtop for several years and given its value and utility, I give it the highest rating. It works very well both within my home network and remotely. I use it on both my Kindle, my iPhone and on my Laptops to access another laptop connected to multiple hard drives. On the laptop, as long as you have a reasonably fast wifi connection, it's almost like working directly on the machine you are connecting to, especially if you use the full screen and set the resolution to "best fit to this device". On the Kindle, using the touch screen is not quite as convenient, but it works pretty well and when I travel I usually don't bother to drag the laptop along (unless I need to do serious work) and use the Kindle to connect remotely. The iPhone screen is a bit small, but in a pinch, when I need to check my computer, it works. Splashtop Personal is free if you are using it within your home network. The annual fee for personal use is only $17, quite a bargain.

This app works great on android but on windows for some reason the computers show offline even when they are online

If you need to access your Mac from your PC, this is the only app that worked for me after hours of attempts to utilize the built-in functionalities and VNC.

All kinds of distracting pop ups appear when you right click anywhere.... :(

This is a great app for when you need to work on a computer in a different room and don't want to run back and forth between them, or you just want to check the status of a long running process from your Android tablet while sitting in the recliner. I've had problems connecting remotely but tech support is responsive and my needs were small so I didn't pursue it.

Nice solution for users who work on geographically disparate devices. Has improved over time and is a resource I use every day.

Just works. Okay, it does crash on occasion, though I have found the slightly upgraded one stays connected better. (Ie, pay to connect more devices.. I use it on quite a few...) One cool thing - the client is very light and it does a passable job of being able to watch videos on ANYTHING from anything. Have a bluray plugged into your PC at home and want to watch it on your phone? It can do that.

I love to help my family. I enjoy helping my family and learn how to burn cd many more. fixing some scripts errors. I hope near future to see more. easy access their computers. to check out some work on the computer from tablets. so many things i can benefits from.

No nonsense access to your PC from literally anywhere. Cross platform and available with Android, iOS and Windows 7, 8 and 10. Excellent job fellas.

easy to control my PCs around the house,

the controls are terrible, the options are lacking compared to the regular desktop version. This is a poor version of the splashtop software.

crashing a lot

its free on the same home network. if you have two networks in one home, you have to pay for it. HOWEVER its $2 a month. $10 a yr. well worth it, better than LogMeIn. requires streamer on the guess pc and log in. this is all positive. negative. it drops connection over wireless home networks. this program stresses the bandwidth of a wireless network connection.

When first installed, i managed to extend desktop from main PC to my surface 3. But have not been able to get it to do it again. Would be great if that could work out, otherwise its just another mirrored screen

This is one of the fastest remote desktop out there. Just awesome.

This is a great piece of software with one critical flaw for windows users: When you do a right-click it brings up the local user interface rather than right clicking on the remote computer. Since Windows makes heavy use of context-oriented right-click menus, this is a deal breaker. I'm using the regular Splashtop program instead of the Windows app until I hear this fatal flaw is resolved or a simple workaround offered.
