Ever wanted to share data off your computer with other devices? With other people? Sending emails is popular, but has its limitations (size limitations, the fact that you don't necessarily know the email you want to send to. The fact that you have to go through the email client to save the data etc) and using USB keys is SO 2002... On top of that, most transfer methods mean that the data will ShareTo: Any Device is a great little utility that lets you share data from your Windows 8 PC/Tablet to any device that knows how to: 1. Show a web-page. 2. Read a QR code. 3. Keep the share panel open until you are done with sharing. The process is simple - 1. Using the Windows 8 share charm in any application and select "ShareTo: Any Device". 2, Click "Share" 3. You will get a QR code in the share panel - scan it with your mobile device or with your tablet or computer and you will get a web-page that contains the relevant information. [Note: You can also run the app directly and share the clipboard or files off your computer] Works with Windows Phone, iPhone, Android, iPad, Android Tablets, Windows RT tablets, Windows 8 Pro and probably most other devices. Note that data is not uploaded to the service - it stays on your computer and on the device you transfer to.

It would be five stars if the app was found in the devices charm. I can't share to the app with the charm. But the sharing files to my phone is awesome with the qr code. The built in qr scanner in the Bing search button works great.

I have tried this app several times and each time the Scanner asks if I want to go to the website, I constantly receive this error and cannot seem to get the application to work. GREAT concept and I'll keep trying, but so far I cannot get this to work.

I had to find a scanner for phone that actually worked, but once I did, no more emailing myself links. Very smart of barcode technology and very useful as a share charm. Now since you guys are so brilliant, can you please make a social media charm that shares to FB, Google+, LinkedIn, and Pinterest? But, seriously... GREAT app!

This is nothing short of magical. Sure I understand how it works and it's not "actually magical", but the implementation is flawless. It works perfectly! I have seldom been so much amazed by an app/software. Kudos.

I just stumbled on this app when I wanted to share files through wifi and this app exceeded my expectations. It is irrelevant whether the device you are about to get files got connected to Internet. Any file, folder gets a QR Code link and scan code with your device that's it your files start downloading into that device. No uploading to any server. Quite simple and effective. Saves you pain of connecting through Bluetooth, Wifi and problems with syncing and linking. Good luck.
