Don't know why people are having trouble. My Roku is on the same Wifi as my laptop, Ipad and Android phone and the PC app works perfect and I did nothing special to make it work other that download, opened it and clicked on my Roku player. SIMPLE

Uninstalled Roku app and reinstalled it, which fixed failure to connect to my Roku 2. Can just barely access the ff, rw and play "buttons" above the keyboard selection bar. Some photos display OK and others are just colored bars. It's a stretch to give it a 4, but I'm delighted to have a real (onscreen) keyboard to enter data.

Didn't think to check the windows store for an app but there is one, and works flawlessly. Perfect, since I do a lot from my laptop and so I can stop looking for a remote while I'm computing.
