Promo Image Maker

This small handy tool makes promotional images with dimensions defined in profiles by cropping then resizing provided source images. You can regard it as a resizable image cookie cutter/resizer. The app comes with a set of profiles used by Windows Store and Windows Phone apps. Many online services for software publication such as Windows Store, Amazon and Google Play ask publishers for promotional images of predefined sizes. Though there are many tools for cropping and resizing, but they require many steps. Promo Image Maker allows the user to pick a profile, then provides a resizable and movable cropping area with the profile's aspect ratio for the user to pick a desirable region as the output image. It does nothing???

I thought this app would allow me to cut out images to make them into a sticker or have a transparent background but as far as I can tell it does nothing but resize photos into various logo formats.
