So awesome, I love plex great app let's you watch your videos, listen to your music, view your photos and more from your Windows phone and PC with only purchasing the app once. You can get plex on many other devices as well. Roku, Android, Xbox 360, Xbox one yes I'll say the P word ps3 & 4, Samsung smart hub, many other tv brands and TiVo to name a few. There are a few extra features with a plex pass but for me it's way to much. Still great app with great free features. I recommend everyone try it out.

Does precisely what it claims to. It does require fair bit of setup, but once configured works great. Well documented. Being a UWP app even works well in Continuum.

I love Plex, but the Windows 10 app needs some serious love. The reason I'm using it over the normal Plex player is that (for some reason) the Windows 10 app plays certain videos of mine that display weird artifacts in the normal Plex player. Very strange. But the Windows 10 app has its own issues. I have to click around too much, for one. Why can't I start playing a video right from its thumbnail? Why do I have to click on it to go to a whole isolate page just to start playing it? The normal player doesn't behave that way. My master Plex account is protected by a PIN, but sometimes when I launch the Windows 10 app, it shows the contents of the master account before prompting for the PIN. So much for privacy and security, right? It will tell me I've entered the wrong PIN before I've even typed one. It just feels like a little TLC would make this thing perfect. Plex is a great product nonetheless, but the Windows 10 app feels neglected.

This is one of the premier apps for Windows 10. The Plex team has done a fantastic job getting this app up to speed and in line with all of the features available on other major platforms.

UI is not consistent with other plex applications, constant issues with playback app crashes often. But I mean at least it plays back content sometimes, so its got that going for it. Generally, I use the web application when watching video content bc it seems to work better, but I like having access to media keys so I use the client when listening to my music selection.

The best home media streaming application ever. At home, traveling, wherever, I can have access to all of my media stored at home.

Does as it says. As a service, it's helped me reach out to my media on a large home network. As an app, it's a little more complicated in comparison to competing mobile platform versions. Regardless, it does mostly the same as the others prior to Windows related network services that could get in the way at times. Aside from user-related issues, this client is a lifesaver in reaching out to my movies, TV shows, music, and photos to be shared from my home office to my mobile device when I'm on the other side of the world, all from the convenience of my always online media server. As it grows in recognition thanks to bigger first-parties promoting them on systems, it also matures with the audience as more users take advantage of it for network streaming media.

I have no problem with plex it works fine on my windows pc, android phone/tablet ,ios systems. I wouldn't change anything .

Plex is simply the best way to manage your music and videos. I can easily access my music/videos from my Roku, Surface Pro, Windows 10 desktop and iOS devices. The interface is attractive and easy to use. Plex used to be tougher to get setup, but at this point it seems to be incredibly well-developed and easy enough to set up across multiple devices. Most importantly it works. I've been running for months with no issues. I subscribe to the Premium Pass and hope to support the development of this app for many years to come.

The media server breaks my PC's connection to my NAS and none of the channel plugins work. The company offers no tech support aside from forums full of people asking for fixes with no answers. Not sure how it's still in business.

been using this for years to serve up my collection to friends and family in other cities. windows 10 app is great. While the WindowsRT app is no longer actively worked on,, it works for the most part and is the only thing keeping that useless thing around. running into issues as of late though with videos starting and immediately pausing. will no longer direct stream and always transcodes when it shouldn't have to.

I love Plex enough that I just bought a monthly Plex Pass. I wish I could say that it was the only app I used for my media center. I use others for some reasons. First, a friend recommended add-ons that don't work (I haven't figured out) in Plex. Secondly, Sometimes my family thinks it is easier to just browse through the known Windows file system to double-click on a media file. I would like to say that my family is enamored by Plex and it is all we use, but not. It would be nice to feel that it is easier to find something in Plex than it is in the File system. It would be nice to trust that if it is not in Plex then I don't have it and I don't have to go to the file system to confirm it isn't there. (when I was sure I had it).

This app is great when it doesn't crash. Plex is usually a very stable app on other platforms. For some reason the Windows app crashes when hitting the back button or when playing files that need a large buffer. I would to give it five star but until the crashing issue is fixed three stars is all I will give it.

Attempting to play most audio tracks produces "SourceNotSupported: System.Exception: Excep_FromHResult 0xC00D001A". App is not really viable right now.

Fix subtitle encoding in your app. It can't properly show Turkish characters.

Update: After the new update, the performance of this app has greatly improved. However, like others have said, there is way too much buffering going on for some reason which makes watching shows or movies a mediocre experience at best at the moment. However I do believe these issues will be resolved soon with future updates

I have been using Plex for years, and it just keeps getting better and better. Catching a deal on a lifetime Plex Pass made this program better in every way.

It is great across all platforms! Having access to all my media anywhere in the world is amazing and a dream come true.

I really do like Plex; however, the paid apps do not allow full control. That frustrates me because I can download the free version in the Chrome Web Store and have complete control over my server; but the paid versions do not offer such control. I guess I am just disappointed that I paid money only to lose features and have many bugs. Therefore this application will only receive one star from me.

Perfect for home streaming and taking media to go.

I setup a Plex server and put all of my movies and music on to it, and it made me realize how great having a home server can be. This is the future, the MPAA and RIAA need to realized that before they go the way of the dinosaurs. I use this with PC and multiple mobile devices. It really is fantastic

It has done everything I have asked it to do.

When connected to a good number of servers/vast storage space of servers the selection of desired media is quite easy going, though there are times when connecting to servers can be trouble some though that could be on my end.
