Great game and it runs smooth on Windows

This game is amazing! I haven't sat down and played a platformer in a very long time... but once I started, I couldn't stop! The progression is perfect. The story is great. The game is hard but the save function makes it forgiving. Really really love this game!

I slept on this game for far longer than it deserved. To be honest I thought I was done with Metroidvania style games but this game has renewed my love for them. Its gorgeous, the sound track is amazing and the gameplay is a masterful balance of interesting mechanics and difficulty. I recommend this game to anyone who loves platformers, metroidvanias, hell games in general, it is a game that should be experienced by all.

I loved this game. the storyline was cute, the music was perfect for this game,the puzzles were just right on the scale of difficulty... I played it through in 8 hours(I think) and I cant wait to play it again. the only crit. I have is at the end a perfect sequence was a little annoying but then it is the end so I understand. overall I highly suggest it and will share it!

This game has a good story, amazing graphics and one of the best soundtracks. What else can you ask for in a game. Its a must have game.

Love it. It's a little TOO hard at one point where there is a great deal of water, but I'll give it another try. We need more stories like this.

This is a beautiful game in every way, it reminds me a tiny bit of Dust An Elysian Tail, though it seems a bit more gruesome when Ori is killed because he's so cute. It's also very fun with just enough of a challenge to make you think.

this is a very good game

Ori and the Blind Forest is a Metroivania type game made with some of the most beautiful graphics I've seen in a 2D sidescroller yet. The soundtrack is also something that can't be missed in this meticulously crafted game. It really gets your blood pumping! While the plot appears to be reminiscent of the first half of Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time, that doesn't mean this game can't pull at your heartstrings. The player will feel a twinge of guilt each time Ori takes damage. The controls are very responsive and once you get the commands down, moving throughout the forest will seem effortless. There are really only two things which prevent the game from getting five stars: (SPOILER ALERT!) 1. The final battle or chase with Kuro feels rather anti-climatic given the pacing of the game's plot. 2. I wish I could have been able to get all the ability trees filled. (Or maybe you really aren't supposed to?) Other than that, you must play this game or risk missing out on this gem.

Great graphics, great controls, great music and just an overall awesome experience. Sometimes it can get hard to time jumps perfectly but it won't get super frustrating.

Every frame in this game looks like a painting, I love good looking games! Its a fun platformer with RPG elements. The game works best using an Xbox controller.

Only 20 minutes played so far and I can tell you this game is fantastic. Well worth the asking price and a no brainer if it's on sale. Performs well on my i7 3770 and GTX 970.

Seems like a nice Zelda type game, I imagine if you are using a game controller it would work fine, but areas where your climbing/clinging/jumping and you need to shoot with the mouse at the same time, you get stuck and you cant go back.

I just bought this game on sale yesterday for $9.99. Knowing what I know now of this game, I would have gladly paid full price. The game is beautiful & mesmerizing & the music just as much. To me, the music adds so much more to this game. I'm not that very far into this game yet but from the looks of the video shorts & screenshots it looks to be even better than what I've already played. Can't wait! If you're contemplating on buying this, BUY IT. You won't regret your purchase.

The game is beautiful and fun to play....when I can actually play it. I have to repeatedly press play on the game - it will open then crash, open then crash - until finally it will fully open. It takes half an hour at least to get the game running, constantly pressing play. Anyone else have this problem??!! Please tell me how to fix it. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling. No fix.

Can't say good enough things about this game. If games were art this game is the definition. Everything about it is excellent.

The game worked well the first two times I played but has refused to open since. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. When I try to open the game, it goes to black screen then flashes white and goes back to my desktop. Either fix it or refund my money.

It's a great Metroidvania game with beautiful visuals and a cool art style. This should be flagged as an Xbox Play Anywhere title but for some reason it isn't.
