I like big words on health, I don't like angiomas, lymphedema, or deviated septums.

avatar

8 April 2017

It has no instructions, just a blank page that doesn't seem to do anything. And there is no options to chose...there must be more to this than disappointment.

Its hard to understand at times the doctors, during visits. Due to time limitations, and being nervous This helps and you to participate with your doctor to a cure plan.

Dictionary gives you other sources or uses (definitions) for the terms (words) you lookup. Seems to be lacking definitions for a lot terms that are available in average English dictionaries.

I'm in nursing school and I just opened this app, and I'm already using it all the time...I love being able to just type in the words that I don't know/don't remember and the answer just pops up for me so I don't lose my train of thought while I'm reading/studying.

would give a 5 with some minor changes, some of the defintions are actually typed twice, therefore are repeated. To improve it they could try adding more abbreviations for single letter tests. also a reference guide depicting what the numbers mean on lab work to be performed, and it could explain medical slips, clinical studies in the past, it could define what the numbers mean, idk if they are different for each doctor are only refer to their coded system or if they are universal. Also they could list medications commonly taken for a diagnosis. And also provide descriptions of the medication and/or pictures of the medication along with the known and possible side effects. Over-all its pretty handy.
