I've been using Nextgen Reader since the Windows 8 version came out (that worked with Google Reader). It's been a daily driver ever since, easily my most used app from the Windows store. It looks nice, and has all the features that I personally need (I love being able to either read the article in app or launch it in a browser with one click). I wish more apps were as good as this one.

This app works reasonably well. Being able to open articles in an external browser is crucial so that's great. Since I read articles in an external browser I have no use for list view, but I wish grid view had the option for forcing one column regardless of what window size you have. This is one of the reasons I started using Feedly from the beginning, a lot of sites stopped using clean, linear, one column designs.

I'd love this to come to mobile, too!

Works great on my Surface tablet, adapts well to various screen sizes. Love the keyboard shortcuts when using it on my desktop. Let's me browse through tons of feeds quickly.

This UWP version of app doesn't support mobile. So why would anyone buy this when non-windows 10 version of this app works on both mobile and desktop. This is nothing but developers way to screw its users.

This app has been my default RSS reader for the longest time now. It's simple and very effective. The only problems I have are with its platform compatibility. This app doesn't correspond to the app on WM10, although there is a Nextgen Reader available on WM10 (it's a WP8 app). Some of the pieces of the app are also using outdated constructs from W8 (menus and such). I think this is because this was a Silverlight app and they are holdovers from that. Either way, it's in need of an upgrade.

I've moved on to the FeedLab app.

Nextgen Reader, with Feedly as its backend, is a great RSS aggregator and reader. Tons of tweakability if you want it, even in how the reading views are generated. Light and dark themes with your choice of accent. I've used this since its Windows 8 launch on five different devices, and I see no reason to stop.

Great product. The Developer keeps adding features and making improvements. I paid for the previous version and happily paid for version 3. I received my money's worth and then some. Coolest extra feature is that if you use Buffer in this app, the app becomes a general Buffer client throughout W10. Chose Nextgen Reader UWP in the share property.

I liked the Windows 8 version, the UWP version is more or less the same. There's no need to jump ship and convert if you already have the original. I would like notifications when articles show up though, probably complicated to implement, but it would let me ditch Newsflow entirely. Adding feeds could also be made easier. Still, the user experience is great, hope a mobile version follows.
