I tried the free trial and the app wouldn't do anything. It wouldn't respond to commands nor would it play anything. Total waste of time and energy, why would anyone pay money for this?

The one and only app that managed to play webm files properly on my surface rt, will buy after trial is over.

States It plays embedded subs, but cannot find any vobsub subtitles in my mp4 videos :-(

I had tried many different video players, so glad I finally found Modern Video Player. For a little of money, you get a stable, reliable video player. It plays almost all the major extension including mkv, avi, mp4, and wmv. Okay, there is some room for improvement including the way too-wide play list bar on right side, but still.... I love it!
