LifeSaver!

Lifesaver is a Microsoft Band based app primarily for emergency first response during a Cardiac Arrest. **WINNER OF MICROSOFT HACKATHON '15 INDIA'** Lifesaver interacts continuously with the Microsoft Band and provides full time heart rate monitoring. If the user suffers from a Cardiac Arrest, Lifesaver automatically detects this and switches to the SOS Mode in which it plays an SOS Alarm, sends notification to the emergency contacts of the user and displays hospitals within a 5km radius of the user. Absolutely recommended app for people with age above 30! Along with continuous real time heart rate monitoring, Lifesaver has several other features like the Don't Panic mode which can be used by the user to calm himself down if he/she is in a state of distress, Logs which are taken every hour [interval can be set by the user] that show your daily heart rate activity in an info-graphic in the app dashboard, Stress Level measurement which allows the user to check his stress levels and suggests what to do to calm down, Shows Nearby hospitals that are within a 5km radius of the user, anywhere in the world and an Emergency mode which can be used by the user if he is in any state of medical emergency. Features:

  • Continuous heart rate monitoring in the background through the Microsoft Band. This requires that the band must be continously connected to the phone but if not so the app takes on from where it left.
  • SOS Mode which is the primary function of the app that automatically gets activated when the user suffers from a cardiac arrest. Activation is driven by the continous heart rate monitoring.
  • Daily heart activity logs that are displayed in the app dashboard. Each log contains a 10 second interval plot of the heart rate activity, state of the user and time at whick the log was taken.
  • Emergency Mode that can be used by the user if he is in any state of medical emergency.
  • Don't Panic mode that can be used by the user if he/she is in a state of distress or elevated stress and wants to relax.
  • Stress level measurement that user can use to check his current stress level and also gets suggestions on how to relax based on the stress levels.
  • Details including contact and directions to Nearby Hospitals within a 5km radius of the user anywhere and anytime in the world.
  • Heart Rate measurement using phone camera that can be used if the user does not have a Microsoft Band.

Been waiting for someone to write an app like this. Buy I can't get past the Login and Register page. It throws a System.Exception (with no error code). I really want this app to work and will update my review once this is fixed.

The UI of both Band and app are delicacy, but unfortunately it crashed after I set up the personal setting. Please check the reviews from Taiwan region, I have two basic suggestions about the prevention there, wish you can approve this awesome app as soon as you can.
