Lanscan

Lanscan is a simple network and network service discovery tool: it identifies your computer's default IPv4 network and scans all hosts in the usable address range for available TCP and UDP ports for a set of common network services such as port 22 (SSH), port 80 (HTTP), port 443 (HTTPS) etc. As it completes the scan, it produces a list of all discovered endpoints in your local area network. HTTP/HTTPS endpoints are clickable and this will launch the corresponding web site in an embedded web browser. Lanscan is a tool used to produce a simple map of the current user's local area network.

Features:

  • Networking
  • Sockets
  • Reverse DNS lookup
  • DHCP
  • Connection information

I use a wireless bride from my pc to an alt net from my base one. Can't scan the alt net. (will only scan 192.168.1.1, not 192.168.137.1~254) Pointless riffraff

Its unfortunate that such a good interface yields no results but a flickering title bar

The app gives you a distraction free ip scan of the LAN. It even has a launch button to bring up the home page of the LAN appliance it found. I also like how you included the ip stack on the right side. Nice work.

It appears to try and scan, it finds my external IP but not my gateway or any other hosts on my LAN.
