I would give this 0 stars if there were in option. Every time I start it up it crashes immediately. There was no point in downloading this app for me.

It is not the same as the website. The app does not have as much things to do an the website can which sucks and sorry could not find any more words to describe my feelings.

Like another commenter noted: opens, then closes automatically. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling... to no avail. Maybe Khan folks should consider fixing the problem.

I love it and am learning and relearning, but the app doesn't work on my pc. I use the website, but then the scratchpad doesn't work on the website. 😒

After I first installed it the app opened and worked fine. But after that it will not open!

I was going to use this for math and code practice, but they don't have any code! Also, the teachers aren't that good at getting thing stuck in your head. Like when you do code, you'll forget everything in a matter of days. What happens is they teach you how to do something, have you do it, teach you something else but they pre-write the code for what you learned earlier causing you so forget how to do it, and you have to go back and do it all over again. I've taken the course three times already and still keep forgetting how to do it!

It worked fine while I was in the app store, but will not run on it's own. David (5.5.17) says it works fine on his Dell pc and laptop, I have a brand new Dell. It will not run on it's own. It just opens and immediately closes.

I haven't found any exercises for the students to practice with after watching the video. It is a really great tool but it would be more complete if they had exercises they could perform to practice the desired skilled they wish to master.

The way these lessons are taught make it easy for people like me who don't always understand it in a formal class setting. A great answer to any grades found wanting.

When I first installed it, it opened and worked, but then after the first couple of times I would click on the app, but then it would just close out right away. I love Khan academy, but this app does not work and is not worth the install. Might as well just go online.

First, I have to say Khan Academy is a great resource for me. Those of us who always have a thirst for knowledge have a wealth of it in this app. I received my BBA in Business in 2006 and am working a career change. I just began Grammar in Arts & Humanities and have learned things I never heard of.
With that being said, for those of you using the app and it crashing, I have experienced it once. Generally, I will just open my browser and go to the site and log in.
Also, I have an older Android phone and I wasn't getting credit for videos watched. A quick fix for that is full-screen viewing and it seemed to work fine.
So, just don't forget that you can always visit Khanacademy.org and take it from there. I have never had an issue with that.
Happy learning! Thanks to some great educators, I still have a desire. A quick THANK YOU to all you educators who devote a ton of time, sometimes with little resources and pay, to enrich student's lives!

I have no doubt that others are having crashes, but it works fine on my Dell Desktop and my Dell laptop. I think it would be nice, however, for the developer to directly work with one of those having crashes. It may turn out that there is some kind of fix that would apply to all those reporting crashes.
