I have an iSpy connect account (but no paid subscription). When I enter my login information in the Windows app, it says login failed, but I am able to login successfully on iSpy's website, so I know my user name and password is correct!

So the app that is supposed to be used with my cams doesn't even work, but this program not only works but gives me a lot of great options like camera angles object tracking, zoom. great app. only issue was trying to figure how to get to see my cams at first, so in the case no one tells you look for the bold cam in the wizard that is the live feed.

People who say it does not work are wrong. They are just not familiar with the loopback so it's user error, but iSpy should find a solution or warn people. The app is buggy but nice to have.

States you can us this free, if you on the same LAN. Get Access Denied on the same machine as the ispy server.

In general good functionality, ok with win 8.1 update, still improvements needed.
In order to have it working through VPN, make sure that you have access both to the computer using iSpy and also to internet for server authentication.

I hate this app. Its not even on my start screen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And because of it, I cant use any type of camera cause I cant uninstall it. I once again..............HATE THIS APP!

this app is not that great..i tried to hook it up to my parents bedroom and it did not work...im glad it didn't install.that would be nasty

When using multiple metro apps at the same time and when ispyUI is in view all mode the video feeds become stacked on top of each other which is great because I can watch tv and view all my cameras line up on one side of the screen. The problem is only one of the camera feeds works the rest freeze. After awhile all the videos feeds freeze. The second when ispyUI is expanded to be the only app on the screen all the camera feeds unfreeze and work perfectly.

there website says it will work on windows 8, but when you download it, it does not. was of my time. do no download it if you have windows 8, unless they say they fixed it.

I have aspergers syndrome so im kinda techie and I just love setting up security cameras and this is the only good service that ive found that does just what I need!!!!!!!!

If you are using iSpy this is an excellent app. It works well and I have not had any real problems.
