Discover Best Windows 10 Apps

Installed and uninstalled this in record time. The speed of it's response brought me right back to the glory days of the 56K modem. It's glitchy, slow, and cranky, just like me.
I type and have to wait OVER a minute for the app to catch up with what I typed, no exaggeration. And I'm not exactly the fastest typist.
The comparison of opening this app to logging in online is similar to a race between 1980's Yugo vs the latest Ferrari while giving the Yugo credit for the 1st 3/4ths of the track.
Sorry peeps, I do have a current computer with all updates and I'm amazed that this app is so bad. I didn't even try to learn the new format, my 1st post in the app took so long. And yes I did the restart and checked my Wi-Fi and all that jazz. I never rate apps and programs, but this was so epic that I had to share.
FB & Microsoft, you should be embarrassed. Go back and try again...
helps me keep up with close friends and family
=The fastest, most responsive Facebook experience above all other apps, browsers, etc
- Buggy in many areas
- Links sometimes don't respond to clicks(likes, read more, links to sites, etc)
- Video content loads in VERY low quality
- Video audio control is pretty much on or off, the slider doesn't work
- Videos stop playing if I switch to a second monitor or another program.. or even while I am just watching it.
- All of the video issues are the main reason for the 2 star
I hope they continue to work on it because it is so fast and responsive, just not very usable for the majority of content on Facebook these days.
buffing to long
I like the layout of the Newsfeed page. That's about all I like about the stand alone app on my PC. I don't like being unable to close or hide the section of 'people I might know' and 'pages I might be interested in'. I dislike clicking on 'Most Recent' and still seeing posts from 4 hours earlier. The next thing I dislike is the 'ping' on my PC each time a friend liked or commented on my posts. I listen to music on my PC while a look thru Facebook and those pings are unnecessary. I figured out where to turn off sounds however, after turning them off, they still persisted so it seems those pings can't be silenced. The last thing I dislike is what happens when I click on links to news articles...the links open in my Edge browser while the Facebook app closes. That shouldn't happen. I also dislike that I couldn't check messages from the Facebook App. I was prompted to install the Messenger app on my PC. I don't want Messenger on my PC.

I've never been able to login. It keeps giving me an unexpected error: Error 22.
impossible to watch any videos through the app except those on the stream itself, all videos i've watched thus far stop every other second.
Very difficult to use/figure out. Also cannot launch a FB game from this app. Also MAKES you install Messenger...and I just do NOT like the Messenger app AT ALL! Pretty darn useless. Give me the browser any day over this junk.
I like it, but there are times that when I open it, it closes right back down after loading. Could you please fix this problem?

When I first installed the app on my laptop the live broadcasts were perfect when I was on the air in the studio. Now for some reason, all live broadcasts sound choppy DURING the broadcasts like a skipping record and also during play back on all search engines. Its not my mic as I can Video chat fine. Its the FB app itself. I can not find a fix for this and I need one. Thank you.
Needs the multiple like option and femeralcupdate for windows 8 please. Tablet. Dell venue 8
when I play a video I see a green screen.
please fix this bugs.
I keep getting pop up adds that I don't want and I can't get rid of them to view the post I clicked on.
can't live without it
The app basically shows the same thing as the website, but with a few minor visual changes, and in a way that somehow takes three times as long to load. It has no support for a “snapped”/sidebar mode; if you shrink the window to any size remotely below average, it just cuts off the rest of the page. Additionally, unlike the website, clicking any of the Messenger buttons just tells you to install the Messenger app. The only real advantage to using the Windows Store app over anything else is the live tile; for me, that is not worth it.
Way too slow, locks-up, and jumps around too much. don't think its ready for surface.
It's very amazing App. It's having all the features of facebook with high speed ie in low data streams It works well...

it has never launched because every time I try to it keeps loading and disappears.
Playing a video in the app: has green bar across the bottom and sometimes the right side; odd color halos around various things moving in the video. Do not experience this with same video in FB using Edge or other browser.

Uses a weird font, cannot zoom in or out. It makes my head hurt and offers nothing that you cannot already get in the browser version. It is a solution in need of a problem, but a poor solution at that.
it has all my family andfriends
Do yourself a favor and drag a link to the website to your desktop or taskbar. It doesn't display like the website and is a pain to navigate. Then when you click on the message icon, it asks you to install the messenger app. Just stick with the website and you don't even have to install another app to read messages. DELETED this app.
I don't like the layout of the windows 10 version of Facebook it is missing most of what I want to see.
Using the app on Windows 10 laptop is slow, sometimes unresponsive. Videos for me never load. Rather use the internet. Game Apps don't work. They skip or have image break up.
the videos have no audio.
