I am trying the free trial and I love everything that I am seeing so far, but couple of things I don't like, and need to know before purchase. Does this program have the small minor features of the organs and tissues? Which is something I can't find. Secondly, I can't switch to female version of the body. So I am rating it based off that, would like developer response prior to purchase. Thanks

really good app for beginners and pros.I am a neurologist and this is where I go when im bored.I earn 450'000 a year as a neurologist since I a neurologist.A Pro, that is what I am. Just kidding I live in my moms basement playing all day everyday cod for life. The game is really good though I am in med school and its a pretty good reference for a lot if you like a quick visual to memories its a good game I do play cod though

I downloaded the trial to see if I thought it was worth purchasing. Loads smoothly and has fantastic features. I tried using the search feature just to see how it worked, and I typed in "tibial tuberosity" and nothing appeared. Is this because I'm using a trial version, or is that not in the program once bought? I also tried typing in "foramen magnum", and when nothing appeared, just "foramen", and still nothing. There's no way for me to know if these are missing from the trial version or from the app entirely. If it's just the trial version that's fine - but if it's not there overall that's rather disappointing :/

Perfect for my anatomy review for med school!

So I got this app because I love Anatomy/Phys. and am an EMT-B/Premed student. It's useful for what it has: information on the human body with specification on Anatomy/Phys. My main issue is right after I downloaded the product, it told me to upgrade (a high/more expensive product) to a newer version. I would have appreciated knowing that this wasn't the highest or best product they had BEFORE spending $15 on it. It's a good app, it's just that they should include ALL features or advertise elsewhere. After seeing the newest product, I'd LOVE to buy it, but do not have the money to spend on it now. I also don't like how you HAVE to use the skeleton as a default structure. In order to see certain organs, you need to manually remove individual bone to access a better view. Otherwise a good app overall.

In a graduate degree studying Chiropractic. As you can imagine I study the human body in great detail, especially bones, muscles and ligaments. I use this app in my open labs when the specimens dont have a good example of what I need to see. Great reference tool. Like all anatomy apps/books the names of specific structures may vary slightly. This app is pretty good about the names of tiny little structures. HIGHLY recommend buying it.

I was looking a detailed description of anatomical structures, but the bony structures only had the name of the bone and nothing more. For example, the C7 vertebrae only had 2 structures labeled. Not very detailed.

I use this all the time for gross anatomy. I take my Surface to lab and use it to guide dissections and whatnot, but I prepare beforehand. It would be perfect if it allowed for saving of dissections, so that I don't have to go back and clear out all of the extra nerves/vessels/muscles that get in the way when observing deep organs/tissues. I love it regardless. I wish I could give it a 4.5 because it's so close to being there.

Most of the time I really do love this app. It helps me show patients in a more 3 dimensional model what muscles and areas of the body I am talking about. What keeps me from really loving it are mistakes that I am noticing in the information boxes... for example, the origin of the medial head of the gastrocnemius is the MEDIAL condyle of the femur, but it says the origin is on lateral condyle which is incorrect (and come on, even the picture shows it originating on the medial Cordele, so it seems like a no brainer to get the info box to match). It is very frustrating to have to go verify information that is listed incorrectly when I start second guessing my knowledge due to mistakes in this app. Images & layering are pretty great; however, information really needs to be correct. Hopefully in the next version they will edit more closely and fix these errors.

Not perfect (see below) but still a big help in anatomy. I get more out of this app than I do out of cadaver dissection. I do wish that bony landmarks were highlighted on the model and that it were easier to select custom sections of the body (apart from the included bookmarks) instead of having to select each structure individually. It would also be very helpful if male/female genitourinary/reproductive anatomy were included. I realize this might change the rating, but the publisher calls itself 3D4Medical, so such inclusion would certainly be appropriate for the presumptive target audience.

This is like something a child would use to learn anatomy. The fact that it's used by so many in the medical profession is scary.

The 3D model, UI and interaction are great, but for medical school, it is wanting. The larger structures are all visible, but different features of bones, major ligaments, and portions of organs are not visible. It comes in handy when learning many basic structures, but is useless if a user wants a detailed view of a specific portion of the body.

Seemingly accurate on the 3d diagrams. I just wish they would be more detailed on the labeling. A lot of terms I want to look up but couldn't find them on the diagram.

Very useful study tool. However, it would be nice to have more detailed labeling of structures (especially bones). Also would be great to have a female/male model

The detail is amazing and functions perfectly. Wish features that are available on the ipad version would be available here as well

Amazing animated physiology application. Medically proven and authenticated. Real world applications well beyond the classroom, though a perfect teaching app.

OR anyone who loves anatomy! I am in my first year of medical school, and this app has been absolutely invaluable to helping me through anatomy/physiology. I started with the free trial, and absolutely had to pay for the paid version (honestly, I probably would have paid even more for this app. At $10, it's a steal!). My only issue is that it does not have an option to show skin or the reproductive system (or a female). I understand the need to keep the app "PG", but it would have been very helpful to be able to see testicles, ovaries, uterus, etc. Thanks for this amazing app!

I love this app, just wish that it remembered what I type in the search bar so I don't have to re-type from scratch every time.
