A cross between checkers and chess. Takes a while to learn but tutorial is excellent.

A totally new game with reflections of some of my favorites. It's easy to learn and entirely too hard to master, so far. Well done!

Capturing and freeing pieces, and multiple ways of winning, mean the game can suddenly flip from favoring one player to another. Last night I played Encirque with two other humans, both first-time players. One of them won -- many turns after she had given the game up as hopeless. There is no random chance involved, but with more than two players it's not just skill, either. As long as you have one piece left, you still have a chance of winning, so it's fun for players of all abilities. The 3-D board, pieces, and animation are pleasing to the eye. Subtle lighting shows legal moves. You can try various moves before ending your turn. Save games and review them turn-by-turn. The tutorial and sample game make it easy to learn. I have yet to find even a minor bug or glitch. My top requests for new features: 1) pay to remove ads; and 2) play with other humans over the Internet.

Don't let the simple graphics fool you, this game will challenge you! Takes a bit to master. Good tutorial to get started.

It has a good tutorial, and it's neat the way the spaces light up when you're learning the game. Lots of fun!

A new game of strategy and skill; fun for the whole family. With some additional content, this could become quite the sensation.

Pretty straightforward, yet challenging. Easy enough ui to play on phone.
