If you use the pen to write notes much at all then the file size will grow disproportionately and it will eventually corrupt your files.

I use this product everyday on my Surface. I'm used to be able to scroll and zoom in/out with my fingers, while drawing with the surface pen. Something changed today and now when I try to scroll or zoom by finger touch it instead draws a line. Can you help?

Was looking into buying this after I tried it for signing PDF documents, then read all the reviews about the subscription payment model. $10 was an OK price to pay, but not $10 per year. I can't tell if the purchase is one-time or a subscription actually, but not taking that chance since it is not clear. Maybe it is a subscription to account for PDFs changing over time, but $10 is a bit steep per year.

One of the main reasons I got a Surface was so I could read scientific papers on it and mark it up with notes with the surface pen like I did with paper. Drawboard PDF allows me to do this very easily and I really love it.

I have used a convertible PC to give notes to my class for a decade now (back then it was a "tablet"). For a long time Windows Journal was my only good option for annotating, but I was forced to find something else when Windows cut support for Journal. I am glad I changed, because this is a much better program. I cannot speak to those who need to use it for more intensive activities, but it works great in my classroom, and students like to write answers for worksheets on my Surface. Yes, there could be tweaks to the interface, and being able to have multiple windows would be nice, but overall I recommend it highly.

That's just ridiculous. Looking for a new app now.

This program corrupts your documents! Stay AWAY! Your corrupted file will become useless (cant even read or open files)! And what makes it worse is that I am a PRO Drawboard user - and this is an absolutely ridiculous experience. This was the one program I thought was at a somewhat decent standard. Say what you want to about Mac OS, but at least the data is reliably accessible.

When creating from scratch, it doesn't create what you've selected to make. Yes, I paid for a complete scam.

I find this app useful, so I decide to buy it. However, when I pay by debit card, I have a problem with filling the address. The address is for customers in the US by default; I cannot change the name the US into Vietnam. Please help me to figure it out.

I just got a new surface pro and was looking for an app where I'd be able to use the surface pen to annotate my PDFs because currently I am studying for my medical boards. A lot of my board review textbooks are PDFs & there are two major problems. One, it doesn't open up my old PDFs that I've been annotating on another app, on a separate computer (whereas on app like Xodo, does) because it says that it's "corrupt" when it's really because the file is too big or simply not compatible. Two, HIGHLIGHTING..... you can only chose five colors at a time (I use seven). Even worse, you can only choose from a limited selection of colors for each of the 5 colors given. The selections are yellow, red, green, blue, and black. Each of the 5 colors you can "customize" to colors that are similar in shade. However, if you want yellow & orange to be on your color wheel together, you can't do that because yellow & orange go together. Will never use this app, don't waste your money, get something else.

Love it, only needs a built in dictionary for defining words -with single tap. Double tap currently is used for highlights or underlining

Drawboard has a function to insert a note, but after you have inserted a note and pressed "save" the note is NOT SAVED. When you click on the note again, all your text is gone. Drawboard has known about this problem for months but refuses to fix it.

I bought it with expectation of it matching the price. Turns out just looking roughly good, many details are lacking, things like page turning will reset zoom level ... plus updates are way tooo slow. Not recommend.

This app works well, but it ate through my surfaces battery life really quickly.

Pros: - Dark mode. - Pen annotations. - Remembers what PDFs you had opened. Cons: - The radial menu button resets itself to the same position every time the app is opened, blocking part of the PDF. It can be moved out of the way, but I have to move it every time I open the app. - No multi-window support. - Difficult to learn how to do something as basic as selecting text. Defaults to pen annotation tool, and text selection tool was hard to find. - Form filling works but is buggy, text in form fields is the wrong font size. - Could use more quickly accessible controls for toggling continuous mode, and single/double page (like Adobe Acrobat has).

Dell Inspiron running Windows 10. Can write a note and save it. A note icon is created. Icon cannot be moved. And when icon is double clicked to open the note the text is gone.

I like the fact that I can use this app to take notes on PDFs, which is mostly what I use it for. You have the options of calibrating the pen/pencil, including color, fineness, etc. The reason I won't give this app a five is that it crashes sometimes and starts up extremely slow occasionally. Hopefully it's only something that can be fixed with a minor update as soon as possible. Otherwise, it is worth the effort and expense.

Does what it's supposed to do. Initially did not have annotations carry over, but since upgrade, works much better with cloud services.

If you enjoy having a reliable and stable software to work with, then this is not the software for you. They spent too much time adding features and not enough time polishing what that had established.

I need an eraser like how it is in one note or xodo. Faster refresh rate please. Its really irritating now. Your tools are easy to use yet I prefer writing in one note or xodo. It feels more comfortable when using pen tool in those apps. I like the tools panel to fade away. The pitch circle disturbs me when reading. Eraser tool really sucks. Please please please work on it. I have plenty problems when working with Farsi texts. A text to speech would make it perfect. Thanks.
