I originally wanted a dictionary where I could look up a word without pulling out my big dictionary when I write. I like the verbal pronunciation. I love the word for the day. I quiz my kids with them. It gives synonyms and even the Latin roots. It has games to increase word power. I highly recommend it.

I really like the fact that this dictionary aggregates definitions from various sources. This increases efficiency, and also allows for a more comprehensive understanding of the definitions.

This app can dispel the frustration caused by reading a word that is completely unknown. One just clicks on its icon and enters the mystery word. The definition received is the same as if you had paged through a heavy, published dictionary in book form. I really enjoy using Farlex's Dictionary!

I like that it's helpful if I'm close to spelling the word, however, it would be extremely helpful if you were anywhere close to spelling the word.
