Breezy

• Breezy is a minimalistic and beautifully designed weather app for Windows 8 and Windows RT platforms. • Powered by Dark Sky's accurate hyperlocal weather forecast prediction, Breezy lets you know whether it will rain or snow in advance, so you can be prepared! (available in United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, and small parts of Canada) • Live tiles keeps you up-to-date without even needing to open the app. Quickly glance at the tile to know the current and future weather conditions. Supports both small and large tiles. NOTE: For live tile support for a location, it must be set as home in the app bar. Future updates are planned for pinning multiple locations to the start screen. • Push toast notification alerts before precipitation changes (whether it will rain or snow). • Search for any location using the Search charm, and add it to the list of locations available in the top app bar for you to choose and switch inside the app. Current location button in the bottom app bar automatically finds your current location. • See detailed forecast in your lock screen. • Breezy provides temperature in both Fahrenheit and Celsius units, and 5-day forecast. Temperature unit for the 5-day forecast can be changed in the options, and uses roaming settings to sync across multiple devices.

same issue as some other weather apps - stopped updating with weather data several months ago, rendering it useless. no response from developer. not a permissions issue on my end, either.

Like it it's simple and looks good but now just says I am not connected to the Internet or it doesn't have permission to access my location, both of which it has. : (

My display is 1366x768 and the text flows off the screen and then wraps over the extended forecast bar on the bottom, breaking the layout. Snapped in the smaller view, the text flows off the bottom of the page and it's totally unusable. Too bad, it looks beautiful. I'll be watching for updates.

It doesn't let you do much

Only wish it had a better live tile with less information

The Windows Phone 8 version mysteriously stopped updating. I deleted it hoping to reinstall it from the store only to find it isn't listed, and forcing the page open through Explorer says it isn't available in my device (Lumia 920) or country (Canada). It was an awesome mobile app, so that might be something to look into. Nice to see a fluid desktop app though.

Like the app, it improved a lot since initial release. Thanks! Edit1: good update, thanks for bringing Lockscreen back!

This is an excellent minimalist app. I wish there were more Windows 8 apps like this. It does exactly what it says it will do and works great.
