I also have the official Foursquare app, and this definitely is better.

Don’t work.

Could use a little more functionality here. The standard foursquare functions like photos and tips are missing.

@Tiffany - The venues you see are based on your device's ability to determine your location. If you have a GPS-enabled device, this should be very accurate. If not, your device will use WiFi if available, which mostly works well but occasionally can get confused (I've noticed this happen more often if I use my phone as a mobile hotspot).

I like the ui and functionality, but many times when I attempt to check in, it gives me a completely different location than what I had chosen

Great start to an app, really liking the interface and options. Could use some more intuitive work but well worth the 2 bucks! UPDATE: After using it a few days one thing that would be great is to get notifications on friends that have responded to your check-ins (kind of how it notifies you to check in to a nearby place), I couldn't find anything for that in the settings and noticed this missing features after my phone notified me and my computer didn't.

tacky style... Works great but the design stops me from using it :(

I love the app. I'm only using the trial of the paid version of 4th at Square at this time. My only question is how do I save locations to a list? I'm sure it's fairly easy to do, I'm just having a mental lapse right now trying to figure it out. Once again, great app.
